Perfect, perfect, perfect. The entire pregnancy scenario was so entirely realistic, and scary, and sweet at the same time. I love how Jake handled it.. with the initial shock and then the perfect-supportive-boyfriend-ness that is so Jake kicking in. I also loved Renee and supportive and influential she was. Most fanfics wouldn't have really included Bella's mom in an issue like pregnancy, when she really should be. I loved the gift she gave Jake at the end too ahah. All in all, this chapter was perfect. My eyes watered and my heart was thoroughly warmed. :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for leaving such an awesome review. I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter. I thought this chapter/experience would be much better if Renee shared it with Bella. It always annoyed me that SM described Bella/Renee's relationship as that of best friends, yet she was so willing to write her out of her life in BD. Very disappointing. So, I wanted to show what their relationship could be like. I'm soooooo glad you appreciated their time together. Thank you again. Erin

Author's Response: Thank you so much for saying that. Even if you're an Edward lover, it should be painfully obvious to anyone that Bella admits that she's in love with Jacob in Eclipse. How can she say that one day, and decide the very next day that it's not enough, and never will be? It seems like that's just too rash of a decision to spend eternity living with. That's why I wrote this story. I felt B should spend some time away from both Edward/Jacob to gain some perspective. I wish SM would have done the same thing. Even if she would have still chosen Edward, at least she would have given Jacob the fair shot he deserved. I'm done ranting. Thanks again. :)

Whew. Thanks for the quick update. I don't think I would've minded a pregnant Bella, but I can go with it. :) Really like the story. I love the interaction of Edward and Bella in this and of course I love Jacob and Bella together.
P.S. I must admit that the thought crossed my mind that Bella would be pregnant and then have the baby and then Edward would find his mate in Bella's child. I was totally bracing for it. :)
Author's Response: You're most welcome for the quick update, just don't expect them all that often. I can't explain it, but I just got on a roll for that last one. Yeah, I think it would have been okay for Bella to be pregnant too, I just thought it was more important for B/J to deal with the possibility of it, to show them that they still have real-life issues to worry about and not just the Volturi. As far as Edward falling for Bella's baby...well, let's just say I have other plans for him. ;) Thanks for reviewing. Erin.

You are just so wrong. That would be a horrible situation. I don't see how that's even close to what Renee did. Besides, Jake can handle it. Bella would...well, it wouldn't be a pretty sight. I actually really love writing Renee. I think she would be really fun to have around. :)

Waaahhh! Nothnig like being relieved of a huge fear to get things in perspective, is there? B's reflections on her family - by blood and otherwise - were lovely. SO GLAD she learned to get out of her own way and let those nice people in! Renee is priceless!
And Jacob, well, what can I say? He stepped up just like you'd expect him to and managed to muster that great sense of humor, but the very natural shock was very nicely expressed.

I sooo loved this chapter. I like the way you think. I'm kinda glad you let this be a negative pregnancy test followed by a period. It was a wake up call that was needed but it was nice the way you handled this topic between Bella , Jake, and even Renee. KUDOS!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you liked that I made the whole pregnancy a scare and not a reality for them. I felt it was important for them to worry about real things that some teenagers worry about, as opposed to only the supernatural issues. And, of course, since SM excluded Renee from so much of Bella's life, I figured she'd be a good person to help support Bella through that trauma. Anyway, thanks again. Erin

Well, I loved it of course! Anytime I get more CFC I am a happy camper. I think it is very good Bella isn't preggers. They are way too young right now to be having a baby and they need a few years so that they both don't end up working at MacDonald's for the rest of their lives. Isn't Jake about 17 in your story? I couldn't agree more that our lovebirds are waaaaaaaaay to young to even be thinnking about having kids. Jake is going to be turning 17 that January, so yeah, way too young. :( Anyway, I'm off to work on my next chapter. LOL...great chapter... awh so Jakes not gonna be a "daddy"..right now anyway... and what was with Bella she wanna take the baby and run...that was cruel....Its a good thing they're not having a little rite now..although alot of us were sure hoping she was.. I including but... with the lingering Volturi threat...now isn't the best time.... OMG..Renee was priceless giving Jacob condoms...LOL....considering there was no cliffee...I still can't wait til the next chptr is up...this story has gotten so good.... and is so well rounded I love it.... I can't wait to see whats up next for Bella and Jacob..and it would appear that Jake is the reason for Bella's glowing...lol..:P
