Jesus, this shit is intense!  Very well done.  It hurts and I'm slightly nauseated but I suppose that is to be expected.

You certainly do have quite a way with words, my friend.

I'll be back to read chapter two once I think I can handle another round. LMAO!

The way you use these detached, displaced words to tell a story. *sigh* It's uncanny how well you write.

Wow.  Everytime I read a new chapter or re-read an old one that is like the only word I can say.  No other word or series of words howerver I mold and force them into sentences seem to do any justice to what I want to express.  Wow will have to suffice.  The following words are pitiful compared to what you've written, but I wanted to say them regardless.

The feelings you have managed to convey as well as the insight you have allowed us into both Edward and Bella's psyches is phenomenal.  Your words arouse, sicken, break and heal the reader as much as they do the characters.  It is so difficult to hate either of them or choose a side due to the way you examine and lay bare each of their actions.

I found myself rooting for both of them and wishing I could heal them or give them a do over.  It even had me examining what my reactions would be if I were ever in either characters position.

I am just so impressed and enthralled and... just wowed.  Can't wait for more.

This is deep and powerful and extremely well written.  It breaks my heart though.  I have to admit that.  I know it's true to life that people, imperfect beings that we are, can wreck a good thing, just as these two lovers have.  It makes me sad knowing that...

Wow! I'm exhausted!  if I hadn't quit smoking 4 years ago, I'd light up right now!

i still dont get why bella would do that. maybe if she had a shitty marriage, or an emotional retard for a husband.

What I really wanted to portray in this snapshot of a story was the instance of fallibility.  Even in the books there was a pull, a thread connecting Jacob and Bella, and Bella eschewed all of Edward's feelings every time she ran of to La Push, rode her bike with Jacob but denying Edward the same pleasure, and especially when her body reacted in a sensual way to Jacob's kiss.  Edward likewise struggled with his own weaknesses, fighting his own vampire nature to deny himself the pleasure of la tua cantante, fighting the timeless love in order to chivalrously (albeit misguidedly) exile himself from Bella.

And these are heroic characters in a brilliantly realized saga of a story!  In the real world, the all human world, the world of love and hate and spite and generosity and war and turmoil and tumult and goodness, we are each capable of great good and the worst wrongdoing.  On a grand scale as well as a personal level.

So, what would cause one to behave abonimably in the face, within the utterly true embrace of an unending love?  And if that should happen, what would the consequences be?  Everyone, I believe and have known at least, is capable of the most heinous misdeeds.  Vampires, werewolves, humans...in our emotions and our actions we are all made mortal and privy to personal tragedy of our own making.  I felt the need to make that happen in the tamed suburban lives of my Bella and Edward.

And from an incredible review from fanficion of this chapter by BellaStjerne...honestly she captured it more elquently than I could have:

Was Bella's choice to have sex with Jacob a symptom of her desperate quiet life, a self-fulfilling prophecyof the inevitable ending of her happy dream with Edward (after all their marriage has always been a wonderful mistake in Bella's eyes, she was never good enough for him) or something altogether different?

I could just imagine Bella standing there, preparing herself for whatever Edward has to throw at her. shaking herself out, jumping up and down in place, cracking neck bones...well, at least, that's what I do to psych myself up for something I know won't be pleasant.

You know I loves you, smooches!
