Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! Another unexpected twist. I am looking forward to the next chapter!
MAY BABIES RULE! (I am biased, my bday is May 26!)
Author's Response: Oh your b-day is coming closer as well. I hope to be able to post twice before it's your b-day, I hope that works out :) Thanks for the feedback!

If she goes to Africa, she's essentially ending any possibility of a relationship with Edward. He won't just put his life on hold waiting for her. Bad move, Bella. Really, REALLY bad move.
Author's Response: I cannot tell you anything about her behaviour and the consequences this might have. But she will contact Edward soon, hope you like the sound of that a little... :) Enjoy the chocolate cake and the drink I gave you! :) *hands you some brownie as well*

aahhhhh Bella is going to leave?? For months?? Oh no...what about Edward?
Author's Response: ... we will see what she will do... And what about Edward... *sealed lips* cannot tell you anything yet! Sorry for that!

augh she's giving up!!!!
Author's Response: Giving up? Do you remember the preview and the sentence 'she wouldn't settle for less'? read that part again babe and be hopeful!

awesome story
Author's Response: *blushes*

But could she leave without at least talking to Edward about all this??
I can see how it would be good for her, give her time to be on her own and grow...but the therapy, the possibilities with Edward...I hope she'll stay.
I bet Edward would travel WITH her later...
Just my angsty thoughts.
This was good--lots of great descriptions. I think, though, in the first paragraph you wrote "the blonde woman" and then in the next it was Leah with the black hair...just double check.
I enjoyed reading as always. Thanks for writing.
Author's Response: thanks for the blond woman remark, I already changed it.
About your question regarding them taliking before she leaves (if she leaves) well lets say that I cannot tell you very much about that. but I think whatever happens, you will 'like' it. Does that make sense? heheh. About them going together someday... do you live in my head *is confused* :) That's all I say about that *giggles*
thanks for the review, it's a pleasure to read your words.

Hahhaahah. I doubt that, I love ramblers, they're just like me =P
Author's Response: *giggles* Then you'll like me :) I have the bad tendency to ramble a lot, that's probably why I write fanfic :) Logging off now. Ciao!

Haha, yeah I bet I'm alone on that, but I really can't wait. *shrugs* I can't help it, I love the drama.
Plus I'm still trying to work on my Bella liking skills, so as of now anyone coming in to disrupt Edward's constant infatuation is okay in my book. =P
Author's Response: I'm happy that I have at least one fan to bring in Tanya *hugs you* And that I'll probably have at least one review when I bring in her character LOL. And I like your way of thinking with the Bella liking skills :)

True true, dissapointment is definitely a lot worse to be on the recieving end of.
His completely inability to be 'mad' at Bella is like.... I guess maybe endearing but also a little... ergh... can't find the right word... just not right. unjust? Something around there.
And where I am it's not even 5pm yet, so I'll be wandering around the site for a little ;)
Night! Sleep well! :D
Author's Response: I understand what you try to say about being mad, but he loves her a lot, just remember that. IN his heart, Bella is the right for him. how can you be mad when you're so in love? For Edward, it's rather hard to feel anger... I'm about to go to bed ... yeah, I'm still awake as you see. But closing of in 5 minutes!

Hey, you never know. I have no doubt that by the end of this story you'll have me loving Bella, but as of now I have my reserves.
Author's Response: We will see hun, if I succeed in making you like Bella :)

Yeah, I saw the little things that showed Bella moving a little more to the rational side, but my like of her is still pending....
And I'm glad my tendency to talk too much doesn't bother you ;)
Author's Response: It doesn't bother me at all. As you will see, my author's note are getting longer and longer which each chapter I post. You will get sick of my ramblings at some point and ask me to shut up as well *g*

I guess I can understand how Grace's exit was necessary.
Yeah okay, so when you really think about it, she did the same thing Jacob did to her. Which in a way is why I'm having such trouble sympathizing with her. I mean, yes, she was preggers, and in that way she lost more, the real father of her child, but the relationship was over long before she made the choice to end it.
It was damaged when Jacob started cheating on her, and ended completely when she began to care for Edward as more than just a friend. And again, right there is another reason I don't have much sympathy, she continued the realtionship knowing she wanted to be with someone else. I can't completely wrap my head around that one, if you have to work that hard to both be happy with each other when there's someone else who makes you happy just by being, then I think any reason you come up with to avoid being with the other person is just flawed. Hmm vague pronoun use, let me know if I made sense.
Author's Response: it made and makes sense dear, really. The human being is rather complex... as well is Bella :) But you're right with the things you said, definitely!

Yay! Can't wait for Tanya! Haha.
And I can't wait for that update! =P
Happpppppy birthday! (well early birthday...)
Author's Response: Wow so you're excited to bring in Tanya and to mess with Bella and Edward a little bit? Hehe, I bet you'll be the only one wishing for that. And the next chapter is uploaded, hopefully it will be accepted soon. And thanks for the early b-day wishes hun, *squishes you*

I agree, his timing was a little off, but I can see how that whole fiasco was his breaking point.
Again, I'll try to work up some sympathy for Bella, but we'll have to wait and see how that one works out.
Author's Response: Haha, so you're not sure if you'll feel sympathy for Bella or not? :) We will see if I do my job as a writer good in the end, okay? :)
Reviewer: wandering-home (Signed) · Date: May 10, 2009 12:20 PM · On: Chapter 1: Pulling a Bella Swan
I agree that the worst was that Emmett knew while Edward didn't. I would feel completely betrayed that she told him and not me (even if that wasn't quite the case, I would still take it that way...). And I would feel confused... but at this point I'm not sure either of those are unavoidable so I'll just wait to see how you play that one out. =P
I'm glad he'll be rational... that will be a first for him so far in the story ;) and I'm glad that no one will be slapping him upside the head because honestly, he's in the right here. All too often he'll be right but people still beat on him because they like Bella... Like hello? Where is the rational in that? I find it obsurd when he's the only making sense and yet he's the one everyone's yelling at...
And I'm glad to hear that Bella will be somewhat tolerable. If she were to yell at him for that I would most certainly be outraged ;)
Author's Response: Edward wasn't mad at Emmett, he wasn't even 'mad' at Bella. But truely an deeply disappointed... And I think disappointment is worse than angriness... And Edward had the right to stand up for himself, that's for sure. But the timing could have been better... but I doubt that there could be a perfect moment for this to tell. Anyway, I'm about to go to bed. Take care!

Ahaha, yeah, actually I was thinking the same thing, it seems that with each passing chapter my dislike just seems to blossom a little bit more.
I'm counting on liking her by the end, because if she ends up with Edward and she's the way she is now I might go insane, because that's just wrong in so many ways.
Consquently after checking my email I have realized that I comment excessively on this story...sorry about that...
Author's Response: Like i said in my previous reply to your review: I do hope that you will start to dislike Bella a little bit less when I post the next chapter... *crosses fingers* There are some subtle hints and things hidden in ch 17 that show that Bella is changing, although it are only small changes in the beginning. But she needs to change and work on therself when she wants her relationship with Edward to work. So I do hope you're not going insane when they end up together, because an insane you doesn't sound like fun :)
And don't you dare to excuse yourself for commenting excessively on this fic, I appreciate that *hugs you tight* Don't change, I like you the way you are :)

It's okay, I had a feeling from the start that Grace wouldn't live to the end of the story, but she was just so sweet.
Urggggggh. Yes, I'll admit, I despise your Bella, but only a little bit I promise. ;) It just frustrated me so much that she was so 'passive' even though she was supposed to be being 'loyal'. There's a difference, loyalty should not have kept her with Jacob that long.
If anything I think it was a fear that once she left him Edward wouldn't want her anymore, and then she would alone and she couldn't handle the possibility of being alone because she'd been with someone so long. Maybe that's just me, but everytime she said "I'll give Jacob another chance," even after she knew she liked Edward, just seemed wrong to me.
And if we're being completely honest, she cheated on Jacob too. Maybe not physically, but emotiionally. Emotionally she was with Edward, which in some ways I think can be just as bad as actually cheating on someone. Like if Jacob had actually loved her, she wouldn't have been present because her mind and heart would have been with Edward. Even though Jacob wasn't invested in the relationship, I would have a hard time justifying the means to myself if I were Bella. But again, maybe that's just me.
Anyways, sorry for rambling, your Bella always gets me worked up ;)
Author's Response: Grace was a very sweet woman indeed, and I felt sorry that I killed her, but it was necesarry for the evolution of this fic.
She definitely cheated on Jacob, even physically. They often touched and kissed, although nothing like real lovers do. And she cheated on him emotionally, definitely. In her heart, she was making love to Edward instead of Jacob! So you were not rambling girl, really not; And I like to hear your thoughts, really. I hope the next chapter will make you 'like' Bella a little bit more!
*hugs*

Haha I always try to find time to read what the authors say on their comments back because sometimes it makes it easier to understand where they're taking the story. Stuff like that.
Glad I could help you name that character. I've each of the books a couple times and even though Tanya doesn't legitimately do anything wrong people tend to pick her as the man-stealer because she's supposed to have a little thing for Edward. Generally though, her appperance in stories lead to some kind of drama which I love. And just knowing that something like that is possibly coming makes me a looooot happier.
My horrible logic was completely flawed, but even looking back I'm okay with that.
And you were right, when Edward stood up I was practically jumping up and down with joy, I really couldn't believe it, but he really needed to. He needed to realize that he couldn't keep living the way he was, it just wasn't right. I was estatic when I saw him telling her that she had to fix herself and that he just couldn't deal anymore. It was simply perfect perfect perfect. So thank you for that.
Author's Response: LOL @ the Tanya thing, she will make a (short) guest appearance in ch 19 or 20 I think and will she bring some (shortlived) drama in this fic as well? We will see :) I have read Twilight and New moon twice, as well as the leaked draft. But when I read, I mostly focus on the main characters and all those names in Eclips and Break Dawn make me crazy :)
Thanks for your sweet words about the twist in my latest chapter, with Edward standing up for himself. I'm updating the next chapter tonight, and hopefully it will be accepted by my beta tomorrow on my b-day *woot woot*

Hey! Quick reply to your replies to the reviews lol. Glad it helps you. Like I said I wasn't sure what your intention was with this story so if it's a bit halfassed pardone-moi. I've been mercelessly busy... ended up in bed by sunrise several times this week and am hopelessly behind on all the stories I'm reading, including yours. So that is the reason you haven't gotten more feedback from me.
Good to see someone is doing some catching up at the least ;)
Have a good weekend! Eva
Author's Response: Oh sweetie, there is no need to excuse youself for being busy. you have a real life, like all of us and I haven't been able to write or update. It's been 8 days I think since I posted something. So don't worry, the story isn't going anywhere! Have a good weekend and try to relax a little!
Cheers!

I'm glad to see that Bella a lil more open in this story and opening up her feelings to Edward. Damn, how I hate that Jacob. I hope she drops his ass as soon as she sets foot in the house and I also hope he has a chick in the bed with him since he probably won't know whent she is due to come home. That will make it even easier for her to let go and he won't be able to say nothing.
Author's Response: Hi there, new to this fic? Welcome and thanks for taking the time to read and catch up with it. And thanks for reviewing as well, I like to hear the feedback you have in store for me. When you have caught up completely with the entire 16 chapters, you will see that some of your questions are already answered! Thanks girl!

This chapter was so sad and emotional. I feel sorry for her, but come on Bella! Run after him! Grr.
Well done, don't keep us hanging too long!

Author's Response: Hi Lozzie28!
It's good that you were in tears, because that means I did my job as a writer good. And I agree, they definitely needed to have this convo although the timing could have been better...
I hope you liked the preview! And I'll try to post something soon, but probably not this week :( Meep, sorry!

ok ... so what I have to say about this story ... I think it is freaking awesome. It is not some unrealistic story ... it's real life. The things that Bella and Edward are going through are the things that we have to deal with everyday. It's reality and not some unrealistic version of what people would like to happen.
I understand what you are saying about things getting better before they get worse. Edward is beginning to learn how to stand up for what he wants and to go for it. He is learning to take his life into his own hands. He has some growing to do before they can end up together. And Bella ... my poor poor Bella ... as Edward said to her ... she needs to learn to love herself ...she cant keep hating and blaming herself. She can't just live with Jake cause she feels that it was her fault that things ended up the way they are. If love is not there then it is not there. She has a lot of developing to go through as well.
SO I completely understand what you are saying and I completely agree with you. If they were to end up together now then they wouldn;t last very long and they wouldn't be ready for each other.
ps. you just had to go for the hot unshaven angle didnt you! make him even more irresistible! (I want my own personal Edward but I think like Bella I have a lot of growing to do before I can have Edward! )
Nice job ! cant wait for the update!
Author's Response: Oh my god, your comment really make me blush and I was nodding and smiling, and grinning like a fucking idiot while reading your review *clings to you*
I really don't know what to say to you after reading your review for the 1000th time, because everything you say is so so true and it's freaky, but it seems as if you live in my brain :) Do you?
And unshaven is irresistable, right? Yummie *licks unshaven image of EC* And I normally don't share my own personal Edward Cullen, but since you left me such an amazing review, i'll send him your way for a few days okay? Be gentle with him *g*
