Thanks for your answer. I had never thought about the strawberries …uhmmm…you are right. But many times I’ve been thinking about all that fucking stuffs that S.M. consciously “left forgotten” in order to write “the most original story ever written about vampires which are no vampires at all”. I could write hundreds of words about all the “basic rules about vampires” that EM just ignores without the slightest scruple, but there is something I have to be grateful for: without so many breaking rules, we wouldn’t ever know a gorgeous, sensitive, well-educated, vegetarian vampire called Edward Cullen who falls in love with a pretty, tender but stubborn human little girl called Bella Swan and we would have lost one of the most beautiful love stories ever written ( I’m talking about “Twilight”, the first book, only) and nor you wouldn’t have written one of the most beautiful fanfics ever .
So God bless SM and bless you, you both have made my days better.
Sorry I didn’t want to make a forum in your story, but I couldn’t help it. I won’t do it again, promise.

ohh! don't ever apologize! i agree - without SM, and all her faults as a writer, we woulnd't hav Edward or Bella or Jacob or any of it, and that would be a pity indeed. if she'd written it without all these gaps and foibles, we'd all be very bored right about now. And yes, i would still be plugging away at my normal life, probably still wishing i had the time to sit down and write somethign now and then. LOL.

you know, i'm a scientist at heart, and it always bugged me that SM never addressed any of the more basic anatomical questions - like, with no blood or pulse (no blood pressure) how can a vamp achieve an erection?
and how can they digest blood, but not solid food or other liquids?
and everything that consumes nutrients excretes waste. but vamps don't pee or poo? hmmm. they must be the world's most efficient machines, with no waste!
and why can bella smell so deliciously like strawberries and freesias, when the taste of strawberries (human food) should be repulsive? scent and taste are inextricably linked - that always bugged me. if they hate human food so much, and bella smelled like it, what was that appealing? and how could he stand to kiss her after she ate something?
also in the movie - one of the cafeteria scenes - you can see emmett (kellan lutz) eating and chewing... LOL!

I absolutely agree with you about not letting events define you as a person. At some point, no matter what has happened to an individual, they have to say, "Yep. That happened." and be able to find means to deal with whatever it was without giving the rst of their life over to fear, or regret, or recrimination. You've shown that very well with Bella, and I would never think that she would in any way blame Edward. At some point, though, it seems to me that she will have some reaction, either physically or emotionally, that ties to their violation. Emotions will not hide forever, and so far she has been relatively calm about it.
Now... to the good stuff. Twi-wank of the week (besides yours- YOWZA!): the last chapter of The Acclamation Diaries by booboo_kitty. Mutual wank. That's all Ima gonna say.
Any thoughts on half naked Rob with butt cleavage and pubes showing?

and yes, treasure trail and coinslot RPattz... lovin it, and amazed at the job they did on his airbrushed abs, ala '300'... looks pretty believable, except in profile. behbeh's got a little gutlet. all in all, i give it thumbs up. need to get myself over to teh boombooom room and see what else you bitches have uncovered...

Sorry also wanted to mention I love how you include all of the characters and shine some light on their deeper insites. I am glad Carlisle took a strong stand. Bella's in shock guys, I of course realize how tramatized Edward is too. Bella was the only human there when it occured. Which would make her feel vundreble and maybe slutty or somehow she asked for it in some sub consious way or it was her fault.. Rape victims blame themselves quite frequently. I could see how horrible this is for Edward since he is supposed to be her protector. Then the rest of the family feeling so violated and helpless. Edward hopefully knows that leaving her won't protect her. I admire your writing skills. Hard subject to write about so well. Thanks for the update and I will be patient. I wish I could find a way to get twilighted dot net to tell me about updates like fanfiction dot net. I keep just having to go over and over the stories in my favorites, and I am not even sure how to find my reviews. BTW I love your profile page. The Twilight "Junk" contest, lmao. When Jasper calls Alice "precious" I couldn't get the image of Gollum from Lord of the Rings out of my head. "My Prrrecioussss" hahaha.
I am curious to read what is next for the Cullens. Is Alice still having the vision of the twins being born? Did that change with the miscarriage? And Alec can't kill Emmett!!!!

I don't know how he would ever completely get over that. To love Bella so desperately that he was willing to die if she were no longer on the Earth, then to be forced to become her rapist, in effect?
