in this story I want him to fight for Bella and then fail...let this be the one time he is not better at something and lose to his brother he deserves it. Even though he deserved something similar in the the actual saga too. I think Edward got off too easy and Bella was stupid and naive sometimes...I like the grown up (emotionally) Bella

I've always thought that Bella was a little too snarky for Edward, and that Rosalie was too much of a witch with a B for Emmett. :)

This was a fantastic chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next. I really want a good Edward and Emmett scuffle to happen if that's possible. Edward really deserves a swift kick in the ass. I am glad to see Bella stand up to him, what a jerk.

I want the Em karaoke exp! Seriously, great chapter. I loved Edward's reaction, and Ilene's reaction was even better. I'm actually liking her more after this chapter. Someone needs to put Edward in his place. Yay for Em & B kiss!!!!! and Em admiting he loves Bella. I can't wait for more, I want to see the not nice play from Edward!

Thank God you had Bella and Ilene tell Edward off. He has always been a little too controlling and self-flagellaing for my taste. Bella is better off with Emmett.

I gota say the way you write Edward makes him seem like such an immature... asshole for lack of a better term lol. But I loved this chapter, I love that Emmett and Bella kissed and that he loves her and that Edward knows that he loves her and that he won't be running away.
I'm dying to know the story behind Ilene. She's still a little too brash for my tastes, but it seems like she might be the type of character that needs time to grow on.
So I'm looking forward to reading Emmett's karoke song and I'm looking forward to the next update. Hopfully that'll be posted soon!!

I'm scared to read further....Will this end well? What does Edward won't take this lying down mean? Edward was wrong but oh my! This is totally gonna split that family to pieces...I mean it's not like he doesn't love her. I can't imagine a world where Bella and Edward don't end up together... Very intense though. Good writing.

I want it, I want it, I want it!!! BAD! Love the way Bella told him off. I hope Edward fights dirty and Emmett beats him down. I've always thought a good ass beating would do him some good. Not that I don't love him, he's just kind of a self-serving prick. Can't wait for the next update.
