W.O.W... I read the first story, and now this (even though I had vowed to stick to finished stories, I am way too impatient! ) and everything I have read to far is amazing! It's more than just a lame smut story, it's an actual *story* ... not really sure how to explain what I mean, but there's so much more to it then I girst thought when I began the first story.. SO glad you're continuing the story! I can't wait to read what happens with everyone!

OK, is anyone else picking up on a bit of Edward losing his mind? I feel like he was already obsessed with "taking care of poor helpless Bella" all during their relationship, and now his base reactions are leading him to continue to do the same things.
He is reading this diary (that, frankly, Bella was a little selfish to give him in the first place. That wasn't a nice thing: "hey, I am going to go off and be with your brother, but here is my diary of how much I loved you so you can sit around and wallow in your loss") and coming up with a plethora of things to apologize for - to WHAT END?!?! I think Edward is on the precipice of a major cliff dive himself. This is not a healthy way to continue on in an eternity of existence. He's going to make the most of it alright, but I doubt it will be a good thing when it happens.

Great chapter... I love that Edward is finally getting to really see and hear Bella's heart. Boy, did he screw the pooch. It is also like Bella is giving him the information he needs to win her back. Giving him her diary was such an intimate thing to do... but it is also, the best sort of revenge too. Edward is going to actually truely understand what he has lost... who he left... he won't be able to look at her as a possesion anymore. I can't wait to see how he reacts when he finally hears her heart. How he completely underestimated her love and who she is. It is funny, it really seems like Edward is the one who was inlove with the idea of Bella... Bella knew and understood who Edward was and what he was. It was about who he was not what he was or what he had done. I hope he falls so completely and totally in love with Bell... again but also with eyes open that it blows him away. I mean that he loves her more than he thought was possible. Sorry, I love Edward... but I always wanted him to fully understand what he lost in Bella... He always got away with everything. I love that he is forced to be a friend now. He will have to get to know her now. He always makes things about him. I am a monster, I don't deserve you, I am not good for you, it is his fault no matter what Blah... Blah... Blah.... Maybe he will get past his self hatred so he can love properly.
Just a question... is Jasper going to cheat on Bella? I mean does this become a cycle or habit for him now?

So Alice's vision was of Jasper changing Bella, huh? Interesting. That doesn't necessarily mean Bella and Edward won't get back together though!! (hopeful, much?)

I love that you have Edward being a "good" guy. The intraspect he is showing is really touching. He isn't full of anger or vengence (maybe later), but is looking to himself to see what mistakes he made with Bella. Can't wait to see where you take this.

Although I really like your writing style, I'm not sure the diary device works. As much as I like Twilight, and LOVE Midnight Sun, the rehash is a little stiff. It would feel more 'real' if there was less re-telling of incidents and more of her thoughts and feelings. Bella was an obsessed, passionate seventeen year old-some of this reads more like she's a reporter. When you're outside of the diary, your normal flowing style is definitely obvious.
This is not a flame, I swear. I really like this-other than the diary.

=] This=love. That ending paragraph made my heart smile. I'm so Team Jasper that I can't even tell you. I love Jasper and Bella together. Finally, all of the things I loved about Edward and Jacob combined into one package. It makes me really happy.
