Even without the grand passion , New Years Eve was lovely. I'm old enough to have those lovely old standards in my memory, along with Elvis, Fats and Jerry Lee. It's a great playlist, believe me. Life is looking good for Bella and Edward. I only hope it stays that way!

Your explanation makes logical sense, rest assured. This is great that Bella is changing slowly, in stages and without all the agony usually associated with transformation. She is lucky in a way. It's what she wanted, less the pain and writhing. It's lucky that Carlisle can sedate her and help her deal with it.

Are you trying to tell us Bella is changing? Somehow she's getting small amounts of venom? I can't think of what else it could be!

Some  good, some bad. The good being Bella and Edward closer to what they had. The bad? A funny feeling in my stomach, that Bella is sick and not from something mild!

Major relief, finally! Now that things are better, not perfect, but better, we can all take a deep breath. This ski vacation should be a lot of fun for all concerned. Especially with Jasper's particular talent!

Six weeks of unmitigated misery! Boy, the things we do to ourselves and those we love! I hope Edward is ready to grovel and beg. I know I'm ready to see them get backi together and work things out.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 06:10 PM · On: Chapter 17: The Monster Within

Edward surely doesn't think this is going to be easy does he? Every bump in the road and he's ready to sacrifice his and Bella's happiness. I'd really like to slap that nobility right out of him! Talk about overreacting!

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 05:50 PM · On: Chapter 16: Making Up

Edward, the sneaky little brat! Imagine being jealous of an actor in a movie! Oh well, it got them out of the house and on their own for a nice hot makeout session.

I hope the readers talked you out of angsty Bella and Edward when you first posted this story, but whatever you did, I'm in for the long haul. I'm so glad they have talked out most of the questions and are getting back together.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 05:20 PM · On: Chapter 14: Truth

Thank the good Lord! I felt so sorry for both of them, they were just miserable without each other. Now they need to get all the questions answered and maybe straighten out the Quileutes . They kind of messed this all up, after all.

I'm sure that when you wrote and first posted this story you caught holy hell for having that scene happen. Now what is poor Edward to do to make things right? He forgot the rule of honesty is the best policy and it came back to bite him. (no pun intended)

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 03:41 PM · On: Chapter 12: Officially a Cullen

This sounds like the best birthday ever for Bella. I'm thinking the Cullens, especially Edward, are loving it even more than she will. The girls have really done a good job 'gilding the lily' so to speak. Edward sounds gorgeous, too.Happy birthday Bella!

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 03:24 PM · On: Chapter 11: Acceptance

I'm glad Carlisle urged Edward to tell Bella the truth. The Cullen crest on a locket is just right for Bella, and it's the perfect opportunity to reveal all. Hope she doesn't have a fit over a surprise party ala Alice! It should be a lot of fun since everyone loves her so much.

I knew cold-pack Edward would help Bella's poor sore back, and sure enough, it's better. He'll have to be careful not to have herheal up too fast and leave for home. He's going to have to confess to her pretty soon. If she's thinking about it in her sleep, she'll be asking soon.

Bella is getting deluxe recovery time at the Cullens, complete with her every wish and need . Nice to be able to do that for her. Edward's talk with his brothers was enlightening, and pretty funny, too. It's nice that they can reassure him it's natural to feel the way he does.

Sneaky teenage Edward, to get his beloved inhis home for a week! This accident is working out real well for two kids that want to be together all the time. Good thing Bella made Edward forgive Mikeor he might have broken something serious on his body! It should be coming up on the time of Bella figuring out what the Cullens are.

Things seemed to be going along well andEdward was controlling the urge to kill Newton. What the heck happened ? It must be Bella's hurt for Emmett and Jasper both to have to restrain him.

Their classmates will be jealous, male and female alike. It's so nice for Edward to know that Bella reciprocates his passionate feelings. Having romantic things to tell his family is sure a new experience for him. Having them all be so happy for him is really sweet. Best of all was when Alice gave him what-for, about hanging in and fighting for Bella.

I've read and been told that when an author writes, sometimes the characters take on a life of their own and you just have to listen to what they want and see where they go. The end of this chapter is a perfect example of that, from what you said in your a/n. It was a great chapter and I'm tickled for Edward and Bella too.  This just seems so real, if that makes any sense.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 02:05 AM · On: Chapter 4: Truth or Dare

For a first date and first kiss, I would have to say you did a really dandy job! Edward has the right idea, never bet against Alice. So far, so good! Except for Bella fainting, of couse!

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 01:50 AM · On: Chapter 3: Thwarting Mike

Edward will have to really control himself , so as not to rip off Mike Newton's head, or Lauren Mallory's, for that matter. He's also going to have to get on the ball and ask Bella out, so she knows he wants to be more than friends. Meeting the family has gone well, even the shopping trip to Port Angeles. This is a fun version of Twilight, especially everyone knowing about Bella from birth and preparing to welcome her to the family.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 01:04 AM · On: Chapter 2: New Arrival at Forks High

Poor Edward, he's never had the experience of a rivalry with another teenage boy over a girl. I don't think he's handling it well, but I'll bet he learns quickly. The fact of Bella being his soulmate just makes it ten times harder than it should be. Good thing he has the family's support, that will help alot.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2011 12:48 AM · On: Chapter 1: Glimpses

Of course I don't think Edward is a creep! He's kind of sweet, for a vampire, and has patiently waited all this time without laying a finger on her. He's trained himself to ignore the siren-call of Bella's blood, which I think shows his care and love for her. Who else would go to all that trouble and wait nearly a century for his true love?
