Now, I won't promise that there isn't some Mike coming up, but never a relationship between him and Bella.

Blehhhhhh, now I have a cavity and need a root canal. Hating in 3....2.....1.....that was terrible, but you're right you need the salt to taste the sweet, still that was a mean twist. Hope the next one is ready soooooonnnn!

Okay, so I knew this was coming, but dang. Still didn't help soften the blow much. Edward's nightmare coming true. Not only did she call him a monster, ran away from him in terror, but gah! Mike Newton? Might as well light Edward on fire now. lol

I dont mind angst it does make it sweeter. But i just didnt like the part she called him a monster. But very good. My eyes were watery when Carlisle gave her the pendant.

Yeah....that so wasn't what I was expecting. Wow...just wow. I'm as speechless as Edward was after he saw Bella's b-day dress. I'm dying to know what was going through Bella's head on this one. Wow. Well, that didn't go too well. *sigh* It totally sucks that Edward had to respond like that, but honestly it kind of wasn't his fault. Except for the fact he should have told her sooner, I guess, but still. I have to say I think that Bella may have overreacted a bit too with the disastrous makeout. He's been nothing but perfect all that time, then one aberration that was obviously out of his control.
Edward's not going to get over the whole monster thing too easily. Of course he'll forgive Bella, but it will always be there. Now I'm all sad!

Bella's reaction to Edward in the final part of the chapter isn't due to the night. She found out--somehow.

Awesome chapter. I loved Carlisle and Esme giving Bella a cell phone and especially her own Cullen Crest...making her an official Cullen...awww. And Alice, hehe....."does she have to love me so early in the morning"...how can you not love Alice? :) The part where Esme walked in on them in the garage was also really cute and then where Esme hit Emmett for Edward, lol. Loved it all!

Wow, now I'm all nervous and excited. I just hope Bella takes it well. Seriously, it would crush poor Edward at this point, he's so deep into Bella. The mental picture of him chasing and being chased by Bella was so innocent and sweet!
