Great Chapter! Hopefully Bella will ease up a bit on the whole "money" thing. That being said, I do understand her reactions. I get the impression that she still feels a bit like an outsider with the Cullens, she doesn't feel quite like part of the family just yet. I maybe be wrong here, that's just what I am getting from her.

This is one of my favorite stories, I can't wait for more. =)

This really is such an unusal take.  I like the family interaction, so much more than you really get in the books.  I loved the confrontation with the wolves, though I'm suprised her father is so slow to come around.  I like your Edward, a bit more freewheeling than the book version, which is fun.  Can't wait to see how she freaks about the proposal...  Great work, I'm really enjoying it.

I really enjoyed the poker game and was amused that Jasper's gift was no longer working on Bella.  I would guess that would leave her vulnerable and maybe unprotected to some degree.

I was sure that Emmett would try and play dirty if he started to lose, but you didn't go that way.  Good for you.

Bella should get over her 'not feeling part of the family' thing.  Yes, the money is extravagant, but by now, you'd think she would be a little more used to it. LOL

Nice teaser....when's the next chapter coming out????  soon, I hope..?

Thanks, antipyro.  Bella doesn't realize she's shielding yet.  It's just starting to manifest itself, and it's weak.  She's doing it without trying.

Carlisle is pretty strict with the rules of poker night.  Emmett wouldn't be allowed to cheat.  Plus, he's really concentrating on the game and maintaining his poker face. 

Bella will get over her "not feeling part of the family" thing...eventually.  Thanks for reading.
