Sweetie, this "I was so nervous posting this due to a majorly negative reaction that I got the first time I tried anything graphic.  So, I'm trying to be a bit more careful." makes me so sad and angry for you!  How dare somebody react negatively to your writing a love scene in a NC-17 story!  What the Hell is wrong with some people?!  Dear Lord.  It was LOVELY!  I can understand being gun-shy once someone has misguidely commented, but really, it was a beautiful love scene.  You are describing physical love and bonding, and it's sooo great the way you write it.  It is very emotional.  It should be.  It's hot.  It should be.  Anyone writing a love scene that is not hot and emotional is missing the point.  You do not miss the point!  If anyone says otherwise they are just jealous!  Or if they are offended by love scenes, what the fuck are they doing reading NC-17?!  I am sorry if I rant here, but geez, that just... argh!  It's frustrating to me. 

I love this chapter.  I think it is important that you address the physical side of their love as well as the emotional side.  You balance both very well.  I adored how Edward was chanting, "mine, mine, mine!"  It was perfect.  Especially for the vampire world, becoming mates is sooo significant.  The story would be less if you did not address this.  I am so glad that they were able to physically express their love for each other.

I get why Edward wants her to stay human, but it is frustrating to know what is coming for them.  Yeah, it's definitely gonna come back to bite them... ;P

I think this was my favorite line from the chapter, "To me, I had always been a vampire masquerading as a man.  To her, I was a man who happened to be a vampire."  Exactly!  You very succintly and pointedly sum up Edward's self view and how it is the inverse of what Bella believes.  It's perfect. 

I also loved the significance of having Edward feel his most "in control" while he is making love to Bella.  There is sooo much depth to that sentiment.  It shows me how he is stronger with her than without.  Yeah!  That is the truth!  So glad that you brought that aspect up!  It's one of the many reasons that I love your stories. :)

I love you, Ms. Shrew.  Thanks for being so protective of me.  Several of my readers are that way, and I appreciate you all more than you will ever know.  As far as the negative person, it was someone who clearly wasn't aware she was reading NC-17, and she really blasted me for it.

I'm glad that you got what I was trying to convey.  I wanted Edward to grow personally from the experience.  He and Bella both did, but since it is only his POV, we don't see what she's thinking.  I might have to do her POV when I'm done with his, but I don't know.  This story takes a lot out of me, and I have other stories as well as some novels I want to start.

Thanks for everything dear!  I hope school is going well for you.  How many more weeks?

Great chapter! I don't know what it is that does it, but your Emmett totally cracks me up! Sometimes I think that if people see me when I'm reading your story, they probably would wonder who let me out of the mental facility.

 Normally I don't like cliffies very much. But since I've been out of the country for two weeks, and I don't have to wait for the next chapter, I don't mind at all.(Counting the first time I've been happy to be back home) *doing a happy dance*

My characterization of Emmett is based on--believe it or not, this is the honest truth--my husband.  Emmett reminds me of him, so I've sort of "married" the two.  My husband has brown hair (though it doesn't curl), and he's big, but not overly muscular.  He's baby-faced, which is how I picture Emmett.  And he's hilarious and shameless like him as well.  Needless to say, our house is full of laughter and joy.  He's so ornery, and so is my Emmett.  But, I am no Rosalie by any stretch of the imagination.  Anyway, thanks for reading as always.

I love it. Bella is showing Edward his place that's great. Edward being jealous is so cute but I really don't get it why they still are so unsure of the effct they have on each other. When it's not Bella who thinks she is not enough for Edward he the one to think that.

Hi Laila.  Good comments.

The feeling of them feeling that they aren't good enough for one another is cannon with the books.  While my story isn't perfectly in cannon, some aspects of it are.  Both of them had some sort of complex.  Bella thought she wasn't attractive or exciting enough to hold his interest.  He thought he was too much of a monster.  Both of them were insanely in love with the other, but still had those problems with themselves.  Just keepin' it real.  Hope that makes sense.

Good chapter, Little weird thinking of Bella in a wrap dress & heels & Edward in suit for school.  I can't wait for the baseball game.  Update soon
