love the lovely surprise edward, even if the poor dear just can't quite get his timing right. and i sense another romance. beckett and eden, sitting in a tree... any chance of a one-shot about those two? sounds like they have lots of backstory, and more than a bit of chemistry!

You're the first to ask about Beckett and Eden! I do have something planned for them, but not in OOhH. If you keep reading my writings, they'll pop up again...under different more familiar names. ;)

You've got me so freaking suspicious of everyone now- Beckett, the man who warned them about the storm...In my head apparently everyone is up to no good!

I really liked that Edward recognized the appearance of his inner asshole and fought it back - it shows progress. Happy alone time was awesome, though I can understand Bella's guilt for calling in well. Sometimes it's hard to play hooky, even when you deserve it.

I want to punch Bella in the face for telling Jessica about the award. That can't be good.

Oh Bella!  WHY did she tell Jessica?  *shakes head*

I started reading this story a few days ago and finally caught up.  It's great so far!  Thank you :-)

okay back to Alice.  she made a comment about Bella holding her hair if she was vomitting.  Then there are the long naps she takes. Maybe she was wearing a one-piece bathing suit because of some surgical scars she was trying to hide.  does she have cancer? way too much negativity pouring out of me.

Gah!

 

God I hope Bella does not get fired.  She may be the leak and not even know it.

I am afraid for Bella.

 

Edward is damaged and need some serious help.  I cannot overlook his blatant behavior of an abusive partner.

 

 

1. his vast mood swings – he hates Bella, he loves Bella


2. Jumps to random conclusions with no basis (she’s after Emmett)


3. He only likes his friends and is not fond of her friends (Alice, Jasper, Emmett – good; no one else matters)


4. His volatile outbursts over stupid things like Mustard on his sandwich.  Something that could be easily remedied.


5. He isolates Bella.  You’ve made several mentions that Bella is letting her friends slip because she is with Edward all the time.


6. When he got in her face at her kitchen table when he found the picture of Jacob and Bella.  He was WAY too angry and I was actually afraid for Bella because I recall him pushing the chair around or hitting his hands on the table or something


7. The relationship is way too physical and lacks emotional intimacy to warrant a lasting relationship. Several mentions that they don’t talk with exception of calling out the other’s name during the throws of passion.   The flame is burning too hot for the fire to last.


8. He is very selfish – when Charlie gave Bella the lovely sentimental gift that linked her to her hometown and family and she wanted to share it with Edward his response was, show it to me later – open my present now.  It was like he wanted to be the center of attention and no one was allowed to give Bella joy except him.  Not even her father.


9. Disrespectful to her family and Bella.  Once again Edward only cares about himself by marking Bella with a hickey on CHRISTMAS DAY none the less.  Cheese and Rice. She had family and friends there and he decides it would be funny to mar her skin so that he could show Jacob that Bella was his.  No regard for Bella’s humility or self-respect.  No respect for Charlie and his home by defiling his daughter like that.  I mean there is stuff you do when you are alone with your special someone but for him to put it on display like that. Ugh!


10. He is emotionally immature since he thinks that placing a hickie on his girlfriend’s neck makes a statement.  That is the best he can do is physically mark her?  PUL-LEASE!  He’s not intelligent enough to be a gentleman to Bella and show everyone that he is worthy of Bella???


11. He keeps her in the dark and only discloses things when the time is right for him but holds her to a higher standard than he is willing to commit to himself.


12. He definitely has front stage and back stage behavior.  Calling Charlie “sir” and his goal is to win Charlie over but seems oblivious that the best way to win Charlie is to be respectful to his daughter.


13. He seems to be using Bella.  She made the band work.  Now that the band isn’t working he is back to claim her to make his music work again as his muse.  But I think his intentions are all wrong.


14. Stating his intentions of marriage after six weeks of dating.  It is just dandling a carrot. There relationship does not have the emotional intimacy for a lasting marriage.  I would give it two years before they made their way to divorce court based on the foundation of their relationship.

 

PLEASE GET EDWARD SOME HELP.  He cannot figure this out on his own.

I preferred the hair cutting to getting a tattoo.

Bella just didn't seem the type to want or need a tattoo.  Also, it would have been a permanent marker about Jacob. No thank you.

Her shorn locks had a history with Jacob and now they are gone, only to grow out with new memories and a new love.  NICE.  You thought that out really well and it was a beautiful metaphor.

Love this story... but, OMG-- why oh why did Bella have to tell Jessica about the school competition thing???  C'mon, it's not so much of a big deal that she couldn't have kept it to herself.  UGH-- I can already see that coming back to bite her in the butt... stupid girl.
