Whoa! Okay, so I kinda was hoping that was what Edward was doing in Em's office that morning. And I must say I did giggle out loud when i read Charlie in Edward's appartment looking through his boxes. Too funny! I like that they have partnered up to clear Bella. ;)

Oooh, this makes me all sorts of happy. Good for Edward! Although really, he should be there for Bella more. Doesn't he realize she's absolutely CRUSHED? And her dad is away hunting... Alice is in the hospital... he should have made his first stop a visit there to check in on them both. *sigh* Silly Edward.

typical edward, good intentions and trying to do what's best but forgets to keep bella in the loop. it's sad that so many of their problems is due to simple miscommunication but isn't that true to life for many?

Well thank God....I don't have to break up with Edward after all! He is so clueless about communication though. Whether it be him being a jag so she doesn't find out about the ring, or not realizing that she thinks he's pissed at her. It all makes sense for his character after being closed off and paranoid for so long, but I still wanna smack him a little. Well I'm glad Charlie knows better and that he trusted that Edward would help, and I do love their bonding! Bella will get quite a kick out of that when she finds out. I imagine Rachel will give them an earful (at least I hope). And POOR ALICE!! Well, at least it gives Bella a chance to take care of her for once AND something else to focus on. Oh, and I'm sticking by my guess that it's Jack from the workout room. Not only was he NOT listening to an i-pod, it looks like he was actually taping Bella and Jessica! CREEP!! I hope Edward tears him up.
Another awesome chapter...I am gnawing at my nails until the next update!!

I like this chapter, but I am still a tiny bit mad at Edward. I mean, couldn't he have at least hinted to Bella that he wanted to help correct the situation? Love the Charlie/Edward interaction- they really seem to get along and I'm glad they're are trying to figure out who J.S. is together. I am also so very heartbroken for Alice and Jasper! I hope they get their HEA:)

I'm a little upset that Edward doesn't come right out and tell Bella "I'm going to fix this". Of course if he were to do that it would be too easy and rob the story of angst. I hope Alice is going to be okay. Good job, can't wait for more.
Author's Response: You're right - this story would be much shorter if Edward had just told Bella from the start what he wanted to do, and not as interesting.

For crying out loud, I wrote a really long and scathing review for Edward (sorry, but he's still and idiot - and yes, I get why he spoke so nastily to her), but this - add a few choice words here, site timed-out like always and didn't submit my review. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh!!!!!!
Anyways, here's a shortened version - sorry... Edward should have called Bella IMMEDIATELY. Why would he listen to Carlisle after the ordeal he went through, knowing the laloneness he felt. Makes no sense why he would wait ALL DAMN DAY and then only call because Charlie told him too. Ridiculous! He should have told his to take a hike, tossed him his classroom keys, and said take my class, I'll be there once I've talked to Bella THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! If nothing else, he should have been on the phone as soon as the last bell rang and went directly to Bella's apartment. Will he ever get a clue. Still recommending therapy for his ISSUES. UGH! MEN!
WOW! I feel better now. lol
Oh, I just loved Charlie. Go daddy-o. I check up on this BOY. Straighten his ass out. He needs it!
Poor Alice. Hey maybe Bella or Rose can carry the baby for Alice once she starts heal mentally and physically for this whole ordeal. :(

I am so annoyed at Bella!
No matter how good your friend is you don´t go spilling secrets that actually weren´t hers! I don´t really care that Jessica didn´t do it. You just don´t do that.
And that key and code on a paper? Really!? Does she have her bank nuber on her bank card too?
She seems really irresponsible, more like a teen, and not a working adult.

know what I'm thinking, it's Jack from her apartment complex whose there when she works out and talks to Jessica... the one who recently lost his wife... if I have my stories correct... it would be easy for him to just bring a recorder in to the workout room and tape the conversations that Bella had/has with Jessica... and he looks like a 'sweet old man' that no one has suspected as of yet....
can't wait for the next installment!

Awesome chapter. I was hoping that Edward wasn't going back to his old ways and he's not...not really. He still should've have talked to her instead of leaving her hanging.
Poor Alice. I hope things get better for her.
I don't think that Rachel can help. I really don't think that it's Josh. I still that it's Jack.
