Well, the meeting seemed to have gone ok. I don't understand how Edward is going to save Alice. But hey, that is the reason I am dying for the next chapter. Right? LOL No really, thanks for the update. I can't wait to read more. :)
Author's Response: Yeah, the meeting went as well as it could have I think.... And the Edward as the hero thing is quite a ways off... He's going to have other issues to deal with in the mean time.... I've upped the next chapter and it's waiting in the wings... If you REALLY want them you can usually just put it a review and send it to you in email form. My beta is taking a vacation, so there's going to be a lull in updating.. Hm, I should probably put that in an A/N somewhere... yes, I think I'll write that somewhere. Thank you for reading and reviewing! Sorry for the ramble!

I loved the interaction between Edward and the Cullen's. It's so different! I'm so used to them all being together and I'm loving the change.
I can't wait for more Edward and Bella, though. Oh, and I can't wait for Edward and the Cullen's to accept each other.

Author's Response: Thank you! 'Different' is a something I really appreciate hearing... There are SO many fics out there and I feel like EVERYTHING that could possibly be done has been done, so the fact that there is something in it that's at least a little fresh makes me happy. More Edward and Bella coming up... I only kept her away for 2 chapters! Haha, but I get why you guys love her so... Edward wouldn't be so sigh-worthy w/o her.

I usually reply on FF.net but I see that you've updated here first so I'll leave you a reply instead. This chapter was very interesting. The interaction between the Cullens and Edward was intriguing. I've always thought that Edward was the glue that kept the Cullens together with his loyalty and devotion. So, it makes sense that the Cullens need his help to succeed against the Volturi. I loved the bonding between Alice and Edward. They always seemed to be the closest sibling bond. Thanks for the quick updates by the way. Your story is shaping up nicely.

As for the fic, I have a feeling it may got a bit off the rails in the coming chapters, but I'll do my best to reel it back in before the end.. Haha. There is more Alice/Edward coming up... I love the two of them... Someone's got to be the voice of reason for him, right?
And the quick updates are not so quick this week. My fault entirely... I let myself get behind in life! Thank you for reviewing! I hope the next chapter doesn't disappoint.

Author's Response: LOL. Yes, I changed the summary... I was starting to feel really inadequate as a human being... I got a lovely banner... Tried to give up some of the plot w/o giving up too much of the plot... I think I can hold my head up knowing that I did my little story justice... She doesn't look so sad and lonely among the other update fics now...
And yes, the plot thickens... But not too thick, I'm not that talented. Ha.

Another amazing chapter. I love, love, love this story! This is one of those that I asolutely have to read the moment I get the email. You write with so much passion and emotion - I can't wait until all that ability tackles the confrontation and Edward/Bella finally confessing their love to each other (I hope).

This meeting with the Cullens is very interesting, like the plan Aro has in his head. So he wants Alice huh? And Alice saw Edward helping her? Why will he do it?
Were the Cullens the vampires that talked to Bella? What did they tell to her?
And what will happen with Edward and Bella? Why is she so important?
I miss her!
So many questions for so many doubts...
Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: I hope that your questions get cleared up in the next chapters... I have some twists and turns coming up in the future and I don't want to ruin them for you! That is, of course, if I capture your interest through the end! And the vampires that were talking to her were the Cullens, yes, they were... curious.
Lots more Edward and Bella coming up, I miss her too! I actually enjoy writing the love-stuff... Who doesn't like romance? Okay, Chapter 11 is waiting in the wings, so I'd love to know if all your questions get answered.

This is getting to be a real interesting twist here where Edward doesn't start out with the Cullens. It is curious to see Edward "looking in" on the family relationship and see what he was missing. I really like where this is going (I think!) I hope to read more!

Your writing is absolutely beautiful. Edward is so wonderfully pained and haunting, that he exudes longing in every thought. It's incredibly hypnotic. And I love it. Please post more asap. This is becoming important to me now.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I try to keep the cadence of the writing relatively steady, but sometimes I know it gets a bit... verbose. I'm glad that it has managed to keep your attention though! I've already uploaded a new chapter, it should be up in a day or two. Are the other vamps the cullens or volturi? How is he going to abandon his mission? He seems to be falling too quickly. Maybe stretching it a bit more. Get into some of why he is here. More interaction with the cullens. I do really like the entire premise
Author's Response: I knoooooow. He really is falling quickly. I thought about that too... But I dueled with the idea of him slowly making progress with his emotions vs. him being 'swept' up in her... And isn't being 'swept' up in love so much more romantic? Sigh, maybe I'm just trying to rationalize for my laziness in writing. But I promise, I will be spending the next chapters writing about why he is there, the cullens, the volturi, him coming to terms with everything, etc.... I'm so glad you like the premise of it though! I appreciate your comments on the story (as I agree with them wholeheartedly) and would love to hear what you think about the upcoming chapters...

I just started reading this, and I must say, this is one amazing AU Twilight story. So creative- it's very interesting to see an Edward that's lived his life away from the Cullens. And he still manages to find Bella! I can't wait to see what happens next!!

Author's Response: LOL. I've tried with the summary, I swear it! I just have no idea to write one w/o giving away the first 3 or so chapters in their entirety... If you have any suggestions, they'd be greatly appreciated. Haha, I think I've redone the summary at least 4 times already. I suck. Boo.
But I'm glad you liked the chapter! Even if I only keep the number of readers I have now, I'll be a happy camper. Seriously, you guys are lovely.
