Is Edward EVER going to pull his head out of his ass? He is just pissing me off the last couple of chapters!
I really like your story, even if my Edward is a dork-Emmett and I agree! Give them some good times to make up for his dorkitude, okay?

Well, Edward is pulling his head out of his ass bit by bit, but I guess it's going to take a little more time to fully dislodge it. His little dream there at the beginning of the chapter was cute, but really unrealistic especially when it comes to him and Bella.
So happy he finally realized that he loved her, but now he's gona all 'she's better off without me!' I can't believe I'm saying this about someone that completely sexy, but that boy could mess up a wet dream, lol.
I do think it's sweet that he's trying to give her one final gift: Alice! I'm as excited about a possible Bella/Alice reunion as I am about a Bella/Edward reunion. The universe just isn't right if Bella and Alice aren't besties!
And Emmett. Love, love, love Emmett! His summary of the situation is just hilarious and so accurate. Blunt and to the point...that's our Emmett! I'm so excited to read more of this!

What a terrible time for Bella to figure out how to be selfish. Now, I'm all for selfishness because without it a lot of times you don't get what you need, but when people are trying to actually be there for you is a shit time to start employing it. She's going to end up hurt over all of this, I just know it!

I'm so proud of Bella. It's about time she got stronger and was able to stand on her own two feet. I'm sooo happy that Charlie's okay. Edward is definitely clueless and a little bit of a dickhead even though he isn't meaning to be...but come on he can't realize that it would be a big deal to Bella that he spent time with Lauren after he and Bella had sex. Just makes you wanna slap him in the head and shout "DUH!" Loved the little story about Charlie taking Bella shopping for a bra.....definitely sounds true to character for them two, lol. Bella's denial bit was cute too. I can't wait for more, especially when Edward finally pulls his head out of his ass. Loved it!

How did I miss this chapter?? Oh well, now I have two LC chapters in one day!
It was such a great idea to bring present-day Lauren into the mix. I love the contrast it highlighted from Edward's memories, not to mention the evil irony. Poor Edward. Nothing is actually what he thought it was.

Wow - awesome chapter! I've loved this story all along, even though it broke my heart to see Bella so low. But this, this was wonderful! Yeah, it's hard to see them go through so much pain, but Bella had to learn how to stand on her own, and Edward seriously needs to consider his own motivations and behavior toward her. He obviously cares for her, but his affection for her is clouded a bit by his own arrogance and belief that he can fix her. She really did hit the nail on the head.
I noticed that he never did explain that he didn't sleep with Lauren that night he saw her at the bar. Is he that dense? He's got to know that would eat up any woman, thinking that he slept with them and then picked up someone else at a bar the same night. Particularly someone who had always been mean to them. Sheesh, Edward, pull your head out of your backside.
I love all the depth you've given to the characters, and the different layers and nuances of the story - it's wonderfully written!

I'm not going to throw things. I can see how this needed to happen. Lauren helped Edward see what he really feels for Bella. I think it is time for Lauren to run into Bella and give her the truth as she sees it. I honestly think that is the only way Bella will truly unerstand that Edward really does love her. I can see Charlie helping her realize that too.

I never thought I would actually like Lauren...ok so I dont like her but I can at least sort of respect her....almost. lol I hope Bella can forgive him. Men can be so dumb sometimes its unbeleivable.

Yes, that’s what I wanted! For Bella to stand on her own and find her own kind of "luck" instead of keep reminiscing the good old “easier days” ….it may take effort, it may not end up being perfect, but it will be HER success or failure, no one else’s . Loved it!!
