Well I think Bella should give old Edward a chance and see what could happen. It is worth a shot. It seems he still has some feelings for her so why not go for it. Update soon.

Edward's like an invisible fairy godmother--all those invisible grand gestures. I really like Alice! I dislike Lauren (of course), but I do think Edward's playing her makes the story more interesting--like disabling and then repairing Lauren's car. Edward's awfully resourceful...and devious! This story is fun! :) I can't wait for Edward and Bella to interact in the present!

Wow, what a day of bad luck...my goodness! I feel really terrible for Bella. She just seems...lost, with absolutely nothing to be happy about. She's got a lot of perserverance, though. I like how you have her in Arizona because she was looking for a mother. I also like the flashback scenes.
Your writing is really quite excellent and the story line seems like it's heading in a unique direction! I'm excited that there are lots more chapters to read before I catch up! :)

This was a fun chapter too. Edward has an interesting family dynamic. What a contrast between Edward and Bella and the beginning of their days! I can't wait to learn more about them now and about what happened in high school.

As someone who has had periods of "funk" in my life, i can tell you I really appreciate your honest writing on the subject. I especially appreciate that you don't have Bella being saved by Edward, but working out her own life before she can be with anyone. Nicely done. Am soooo excited to see how they make this work.

Nice chapter... I enjoyed seeign Bella getting her act together, and I'm massively curious about Rosalie, and what her motives are... If Alice convinced her to ask since she was moving out and in with Jasper, or if maybe Emmett said something about how heartbroken Edward was, and was maybe trying to patch things up by bringing her in closer... or maybe a combination of both? Or perhaps Rose was just trying to get closer to her so they could finally be friends... I don't know, but I figure the answer will be revealed sooner or later, so oh well... lol
