Laura - I really like how you made the whole sex thing not "perfect". Yes, Bella got bruised.... but he never actually hurt her. And we can see that now through his memories of the honeymoon and through the thunderstorm/up against the door/vampire sex :)
The goodbyes with Jake and Charlie were sweet. I'm very curious about all those pages Bella was typing out. I'm wondering if it was her writing down her memories of the honeymoon or their entire relationship in general? Something for Edward to read while she's changing so he would know how much she loves him, perhaps?

This is story is so amazing, and I'm so happy to read this update, and so sad for the story to be coming to a close, though I know it's time. It is really so wonderfully written and amazingly hot, and all the emotions are in the perfect place. I love how Bella is Edward's equal in your story, because I actually feel (unlike in the book) that she really complements him perfectly rather than just being he ultimate obsession. I read on the thread that you got a particularly negative review, and I think that that is just absurd. This is without a doubt the best fic in the universe, and not many people are up to the task of describing Edward as a vampire. But I love it, love it, love it, every chapter. I can't wait to see how you handle the future and Bella's change, and the "ahem,scene" which I'm assuming is the blood-drinking! I can't wait, and I guess it isn't weird that I'm so excited!
Good luck at the writers workshop! Do you have a novel you're having published? I would certainly recommend your work to anyone.

this story just keeps getting better and better, as it gets hotter and hotter. I just loved bad vampire Edward, and the smoking hot door sex, and it was even sweeter that Edward felt bad about it afterwards.
It's also as amusing and entertaining as always. The Vampire girl T-shirt and snarky banter and sarcasm has me laughing out loud on a regular basis.
I can't wait to see what happens next, and how Bella and Edward go about her change and handle the newborn stage. Please don't keep us waiting too long for the next update.

I just read this through from the beginning today. I had seen it under the Top Tens category (congratulations on that) but hesitated to read it for the last month because I try to avoid lemons when I'm traveling away from my husband. (LOL) I'm home now and WOW!! Not at all what I expected. The writing is perfect and it's nice to read a story that isn't full of angst. I enjoyed it thoroughly and am looking forward to the final chapters. Best of luck in your endeavors!

Man these goodbyes and reminicent dialogues is what SHOULD have taken place in breaking dawn...my God this was good...I love SM and BD but this made me tear up and it seemed more realistic fir them. BRILLIANCE... I adore your story too much!
