I'm thinking James is too sneaky to do anything himself & has someone stalking Bella. What i can't figure out is why she won't tell Edward who was on the phone.

Love that Edward had to find out second hand all the crazy stuff that he did the night before!  When it was all presented I realized that he really screwed up! :)  Between Bella and blurting out the stuff at the bar, he owes her much more than pizza and a movie!

As for what Bella is keeping from Edward...I believe that James is behind it, and that since nothing happens to Bella and the baby I think it has something to do with Bella's record contract.  Maybe somehow he wants her songs, or she has to recant on his assult, I can't quite figure out what he is holding over her though...I am sure it is something about her family or Edward, OHHHH maybe Tanya has something to do with it because Edward said that Bella didn't know the half of it (the story about getting drunk and sleeping with Tanya) and maybe that figures in somehow...oh well, I am done speculating!  Can't wait for the update! :)

No ideas...I'm sure it has something to do with that damn bastard James!  I hope she tells Edward...he can make all things much Much MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!

Hmm...well I'm guessing that phone call was James threatening/scaring Bella, possibly blackmailing her...  perhaps with something to do with Edward? :/ Well, whatever is is I'm really curious, so I hope you'll update soon!! :D

oh my... after days of trying to catch up with this story, the ending of this chapter makes me anxious. i smell trouble again for our beloved couple. but i hope that the baby won't be affected. it would just be too much if that happens. and what edward did before he passed out, that is  a huge bummer!!! haha.. that actually happened to us one time but my hubby wasn't even drunk. he was just so tired from his day. haha.. i didn't have the heart to wake him up.  =)

to answer your question, i have this friend who once had a stalker (probably still do now because the M.O of the guy is to lie-low for a while and then continue)..anyways, she met the guy at work and resigned because she got married (but annulled now). but that didn't stop the guy. the guy was able to get phone #s of everyone in her family and even their house phone and kept on calling them and bugging them about my friend.. saying he really loves my friend and that he was the one for her.. the whole family had to change phone #s. he would message all of my friend's contacts on her friendster/facebook etc and try to sweet-talk his way into trying to get her # from them again. he did it to me and used the fact that we went to the same university as maybe a way for me to soften up to him. then he waits for her at our office.. it was really quite frightening because you have the feeling that the guy could/would do just about anything to get to my friend..if i felt afraid, i could just imagine how my friend felt at that time.

i got a little confused here.. when they were in los angeles, they haven't had sex right? and that was the time she drank the antibiotics... so how could she get pregnant when the first time they had sex was on bella's bday? which i think was 2 weeks from that time in LA. but still, do you mean to say that even after 2 weeks the birth control pills are still ineffective?

this is such a mess!!! why is it that the ex who is staying with the guy (but with innocent reasons) always wears one of their shirts?? it really gives the wrong idea!! but stuff like that always happen. tsk tsk... bella is such a mess. i pity her.
