i'm totally enthralled. i haven't bothered to review the first two chapters, choosing instead to just next my way forward. keep writing. i love it. plus, my sisters spouse is a paramedic, so i'm loving the shout out for solidarity.

This was the most perfect and tragic chapter EVER.
Seriously.
I loved that you took such a tragedy (and Charlie has always had a soft spot in my heart so it does make me sad that he's dead) and brought Edward and Bella together.
but WHY WHY WHY WHY?! does Emmett have to stop Bella and Edward's almost kiss? That was SO tragic.
AND I sincerely hate that Jacob, after sleeping with LEAH, does he have the balls to say "BABY"?! I wanted Rose to slap him or rip him to freaking shreds.
AMAZING!! I can't WAIT for your next chapter. Honestly!! This is quickly becoming a favorite story!!

That's downright heartbreaking! I loved the music part, this is certainly a new turn! Edward and Bella should so duet more often. And that Charlie died... I adore how Edward's giving Bella the comfort she needs, and that she's accepting it, and not turning him away. Grr @ Jacob, though.

I really like this so far. I am wondering where this will lead. Edward is very sweet, but as always taking his sweet time. Bella needs some time to develop trust and now get over the tragedy, but she also needs to know where she stands with him. They get into too much trouble with the miscommunication.

OMG! *sniff* I LOVE YOU! LOL First, the dedication blew me away, it was totally unexpected, thank you so much! *hugs* And then this chapter was just.... GUH! Wonderful! Everything about it was perfect: Edward's dream (lol). Them playing the piano and everyone's reaction to Bella's song. When he leaned into her and touched her ear with his lips my stomach flipped, so I can only imagine what Bella's would have done. LOL
And then OMG you go in for the kill with Jacob showing up with terrible news. My heart is broken right now for Emmett and Bella. Edward catching her, and then holding her and speaking so sweetly to her is absolutely killer! OMG so good! So glad that Rose basically told Jacob to fuck off. And loved Alice and Jasper kind of taking control of things.
I can't wait for the next chapter of this! I am totally loving this fic, and will be rec'ing it in my LJ (probably later today after I get some sleep) when I post my next Fic Rec post. Everyone needs to read this, like NOW. LOL
If no one's offered to do one yet, would you allow me to make you a banner for this? I would really love to make you one. I've only been inspired like this with one other fic, but this is just screaming at me to do a graphic. Even if you don't use it here at the board, I'll probably make one and post at my LJ to promote it. LOL K, gonna stop rambling now. LOL

I love the job you have for Edward. Couldn't be more perfect for the resident speed demon. I usually don't get into a story this early on, but I really hope you keep up with it, because I'm in for the long haul. This is a wonderful piece, and you should be very proud of your work.

OMG I'm very excited about this story! As the wife of a Firefighter/EMT I can very easily picture Edward in that roll (*drools* lol), and there are too few fics out there with him as such. Well written ones at that. I'm really looking forward to this, and seeing what happens.

Author's Response: Will you beleive that the "That's the girl I am going to marry" line was actually inspired by my own cute paramedic husband? It was something he said about me when he first met me even though I was dating someone else. I appreciate your review, and hate to tell you that Jacob will make an appearance soon, but you will be surprised at how it plays out!

Author's Response: EMT Edward was inspired by my husband who complained that there was a fireman Edward and a police officer Edward, but the medics were getting overlooked! Of course, I took this as an opportunity to remedy that situation....LOL!
