WOW. The Charlie-dying chapter had me in tears, and this one had my heart in my throat, thumping away! WHEW!!! That was some scary shit!! and made me realize that no matter how good the docs at the hospital are, it's the EMT guys that really save the day!!! Props to your husband for being that guy!!! :) And thank him for his medical know-how that helped bring the chapter alive. :)
I gotta say, I a m LOVING this story. It's been on my faves list for quite a while - so many people seemed to recommend it, but I have 73 on my list and it took me a while to get here!! I am zipping right through it! I really feel these characters the way you've written them - your Edward is quite endearing, and you've nailed Bella right to the wall. :) Poor Bella and Emmett! Poor Charlie! Poor Renee! And you've got me hating the hell outta Jacob. GRRRR! I'm so glad it didn't take 20 chapters for them to confess their affections.
On a side note, thank you for sticking with your story. One of my fave stories just got pulled off - no warning, no ending, a shitty cliff hanger - it's just GONE, and I am despondent.
On to the next chapter I go! :)

So Rescue Me is still on my favorite list, but something about the story isn't sitting right with me lately. Bella's personality seems different, but not in a way that would indicate she is growing as a character. The chapters, such as this one, are all fun, entertaining reads, but there seems to be a lack of depth to the plot. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoy reading this, but it's not as exciting or suspenseful as the beginning.

Great chapter! I'm glad things are starting to work out. The girls talk was cute. Edward and Bella still need to talk about a lot, but things are better. Can't wait to read about their talk and the make up sex!
As for the song Edward should dance to I'm not sure, but if you need a song for Bella and Edward to dance to I think Corinne Bailey Rae's "Like A Star" is really cute.

As for dancing at the party - I think since about half way through the story so far I've had Aretha Franklin's "Rescue Me" playing in the back of my head... just because of the boppiness mostly lol

I think Edward should dance to the song I'm Yours. It's kind of not danc-able, but it's mostly perfect. or the song This Years' Love by David Gray. I think it's perfect. They can dance to it together. Yup, this years' love- definetly. and I love the chapter.
