Once again, love the chapter.  I think one of the best descriptions of Edward was here - "he was an angel made of sin."  Fantastic.  I also really liked the idea that the Gift could be passed on during the change.

Quick question... Maybe I missed this somewhere, but who is Diana, and why does Edward keep calling Bella Diana in his thoughts?  Color me confused...

In Greco-Roman mythology Diana is Goddess of the Hunt; and a virgin protectress of chastity.  In the story of Acteon and Diana, the human Acteon stumbles upon Diana bathing.  He is enchanted by her beauty, but Diana does not think so favorably of him discovering her nakedness, so she turns him into a stag, and turns his hunting dogs against him.

The metaphor here is a bit of a stretch, but I think it fits, all things considered.  :)

Take as long as you need. Good stories, like fine wine, need time. That said, I always look forward to this updating. And just so you know, you never disappoint.

I want to savor it too, but it's kind of hard if I can't read it. Com'on, please get the next chapter out sooner. I'd forgotten this fic even existed I had to think really hard to remember where the amber neckless came from. Love it as always, great charicter deph and really well written. Don't make me wait who knows how many weeks for the next instalment, I want to know what happens next soon.
