aww I loved that! I am team Edward all the way but seeing this from Jacob's POV and really just stepping back for a second to think only about what he felt is just heartbreaking.

I hated Jake in the books and ended up LOVING him in the movie. so who knows.

Awww... so sweet and yet so sad. This sounds like a younger, more innocent Jacob. Like before he found out he was a werewolf... he did love Bella so much, it must have been very hard on him not to be able to make her pain go away. I understand a little better now why he hated Edward so much, beside the natural-enemy thing. It was very poignant, and very well-written. :o)
