I was so sad that she didn't say YES!!!! only to love more the twist at the end.... but now, here comes Jake - can't wait to see what THAT means! I think that Bella, having been asked, should ask Edward to marry her :)

That....was....fantastic! Talk about romantic...whoa!!!! I'm a little sad that Bella didn't say yes, but that just means there'll be more romantic moments to come, right?! And of course I'm totally curious about what comes next - Jake?! Is everything okay back in Forks?? Please update again soon, and thanks for a FABULOUS story!

I liked this Chapter. I happen to have been lucky enough to see the lights in September 2001 in Ticonderoga, NY. Absolutely stunning and truly amazing. Exactly as you described them. I would love to see them in Alaska though.

Wow...I"m really impressed with your story! I don't generally read a lot of stories that are so far removed from what actually happened in the series....and am I'm not sure what compelled me to read yours...but I am so glad that I did! You've managed to create a completely acceptable alternative ending to a story I felt couldn't be improved upon. The personalities of the characters seem very true and just. I have been reading for hours now to devour the whole thing and find out what happens....and I will definately add this to my favorites so I can find out when you update! Nicely done! Keep up the great work! :)
By the way...I absolutely LOVED Bella feeling territorial about Tanya encroaching on her turf....that was awesome!!! That blond vamp better watch her back!!! lol!

The date was so perfect and sweet and beautiful. I'm glad Bella accepted the ring but didn't say yes. It is a little too soon. I loved this chapter. So excited that Bella and Edward can hear each other's thoughts.
Can't wait to read more. What's happened? Please update soon.

A beautiful date--and I absolutely loved how Edward told Bella she was his aurora--such a beautiful metaphor for how she lit up his life. Their date was beautiful, even if Bella couldn't yet say 'yes'. I think she will soon enough. And I'm glad that Edward realized how a denial of sex would seem to Bella after she hadn't said yes--and they needed that physical closeness, anyway. And how wonderful that she was able to hear Edward! They truly are meant to be.
Now, wonder what's going to happen with Jake's return...

Wonderful, wonderful chapter! I think it's important that Bella was hesitant to say yes. That means she's thinking about things and doesn't want to rush anything. That's being smart and mature and all things wise. Now, I'm wondering why Jake is there. Yes, you've got me curious.

Beautiful chapter! I love how he took her to see the Northern Lights, and how he explained how they happened and used the analogy to explain what she was to him. Very poetic and beautiful.....
And of course Jacob ruins the moment.... Arghh!!
