OOOhh, I LOVED this juicy chapter!! So much goodness with the plotline, the Charlie attack, Victoria's threat, and the wolves. But the best bits for me were Bella's struggle with her shield and being able to hear others' minds, and the takedown of that manstealing bitch Tanya! I love that Bella and Edward can hear each other when her shield is back and that now she is going to have a run-in with Victoria blackmailing her instead of James like the books. Great stuff and I hope RL cuts you some slack so you get more time to write and update! I had to re-read several chapters to remember details before reading this latest (not a bad thing, mind you!). THANKS!

Great update! So much going on; poor Charlie; after everything else being attacked by Victoria sucks (I know, bad joke). Have to say that I LOVED the vamp/cat fight; Tanya needs to have her ass kicked. Love that the wolves are back but now really nervous about what Bella is going to do about her invitation; especially since she's brave/stupid enough to go alone...Can't wait for the next chapter!

I only started reading this story this evening.. So I've just read all 14 chapters which is probably why it's 2am XD
I absolutely loved this story!! It's amazing!! I've read several stories where Edward usually doesn't come back.. but this is by far the best and it's the first one I've read where Bella is turned into a vamp.. and by Laurent no less.. I have to say that was very clever.. to use something already in the books and link it into your AU!!
"I released one hand from her shoulder and fished my necklace out from under my sweater. Leaning over her, I dangled the necklace in front of her face. I heard her gasp in recognition. I shook the necklace, causing the Cullen crest charm and Edward's ring to jingle together. "Mine.""

"Nobody, Bella, nobody messes with my family. So don't worry about the car. Although thank you for not turning it into a pretzel around Jasper and Alice."

I loved so many lines in this story.. they're 4 of my favourite from this chapter XD

Laura, First, I'm really sorry RL hasn't been that good to you lately. I'm sending you lots of positive energy and hoping for the best for you and yours. I'm amazed that you continue to put out these great chapters in the middle of whatever you're going through. Thank you very much for continuing to "take care" of your devoted fans, but know we are also patient and understanding. I hope your writing is giving you as much comfort as it gives us joy.
Second, what a FANTASTIC chapter! I loved all the action, Rosalie choosing not to rip Bella's head over the car incident, Bella's continued friendship with Jake, Bella taking down Tanya (YES!), and the coming showdown between Bella and Victoria. I was VERY sad to hear about Charlie (gasp!) but happy that he pulled through and the wolves were able to "change his memory" of what really happened. I really, really love the growing equality between ExB, as well as his continuing to take tender care of her when she needs it.
I hope Tanya doesn't join forces with Victoria! It would be nice for the Denalis to be able to patch things up with the Cullens.
I really, really love what a badass Ms. Bella has become! woot woot!

I loved this chapter. I sooo want to know what is going to happen next. You are doing a great job and I want to know if Bella is really going to be able to get away and try and kill Victoria by herself? Or if she would be able to sneak away and with 1 other person other than Edward and kill her together, I would like to see Rosalie and her go off after her. That would be AWSOME!

Reviewed as I read... Awesome chapter... Loved it... Here are my running thoughts.
No no... Charlie they hurt Charlie! That is not ok. That bit*h! Not cool. (Great start to the chapter) Love that she grabbed Rose's car keys! I can see Edward running with the car, and I can see Bella not finding the humor in the current situation.
I love Alice was blocking the car... the little pixie! Plan who need a stinkin' plan... LOL
Oh I love the way Rose handled the situation! Don't mess with the family!

Poor Jacob I can't imagine how bad he feels, and Bella mouth filling with venom at the thought of Charlie's blood.
I enjoyed Bella's thoughts while she ran and hunted... Now it is time to Plan damn it! Ok I did not expect why Jake was there... And Tanya came to mess with her now; not cool. She want to ask Edward something; the nerve! Excellent on Bella hearing more than Edward's thoughts. OK I was reading A Life Extraordinary - chap 38 where Bella behaved around petty bitchy Tanya and it killed me. So thank you, thank you for this.:

Ugghhh! Please don't tell me she's going to keep a secret from him... it seems to be a theme in stories I am reading lately. Yeah role your eyes at me, I'm being a winer. However, from Edward's funny look, I would say he was able to hear her thoughts and maybe realized what she had already read.
Can't wait for the next chapter... and I hope she decides to come clean.

Great chapter. I wonder what Tanya is up to. I was hoping that Bella would tell Edward about Victoria, but I think he knows.
