Ahhh, it takes true talent to completley turn my annoying Friday around.  I read this story almost religiously (that sounded creepier than I wanted it to...) and I can't give you enough credit.  You know how to weave a story and pull me in.  And honestly, I like the way that you don't leave out the "minor" characters like Angela and Mike.  Superb!  Amazing! Scrumtrelescent even (I know it's not a word, but it's from a SNL skit that I thoroughly enjoyed).  Just wanted to drop another note stating that I love this story!  Keep up the good work!

I'm glad you noticed my inclusion of all the secondary characters.  It's so easy to get caught up in Jake & Bella that I have to stop myself from placing them in a little fluffy bubble.

haha charlie cracks me up and I cant wait for the girls at bella's school to see her with jacob and what they say to bella...i hope she stands up for herself for once!

Reading backwards, are we?  Yeah, I have to say that's one of my favorites as well.  Actually, it probably is my very favorite.  When I started writing it, I had no idea where I was going.  I guess Jake just knew what to do!

Keep in mind that other than Alice not seeing the whole cliffdiving incident, I'm trying to be as true to ALL the characters as possible.  We know from the books that the Cullens really missed Bella and wanted to see her again.  We also know that Edward said he was really close to coming back on his own.  So yes, at some point in this series of stories, Edward will come back.  Of course, a lot has changed since he's been gone...

i did the little grin and sigh thing when he snuck up on her. Very cute.

Loved Charlie too. i think i'm going to start hounding you for a Billy and Charlie chat companion story. i think if the romance between their children ever came up in a conversation it would have to interesting, and probably a bit funny. Like.. you know those guy chats? When they say like four words and grunt a bit, but they understand each other perfectly? Haha... And the way Charlie was acting in this chapter.... Does Jake understand all the non-verbals going on here, or is he just ignoring them? Guess i have to wait for his chapter.

Funny you should mention that.  I'm actually working on a companion story from Charlie's POV right now.  It's several chapters ahead, and it does include a conversation with Billy.

And yes, Jake absolutely understands all the non-verbals...and he thinks it's very entertaining.

Great Chapter. I like the idea of Charlie being unease so much !!!

Can't wait for the next chapter and the one when Bella and Jacob would have to tell Mike and Lauren that they are together.

So I wasn't sure about how I would like Bella and Jacob before, but i totally love this story, I think you get the characters really well and this seems like how they would act.  I think I'm Team Bella too, it seems like as long as she's happy I'm happy, and this story makes me happy! Keep writing!

Thanks so much!  I'll admit that I spend a lot of time referring back to the books and pretty much reverting to my own teenage years when I write this.  I figure as long as I'm writing about a couple of kids in love, I have to make sure they're not reacting to things like adults would.
