Author's Response: I'm impressed. You're correct. Most people initially think he's just being a selfish ass, which is why I put that little note in there. But yes, even though Bella's not making any sense (in his mind), he's too happy right now to let anything bring him down.

I think i'm slightly addicted to this story !! :L I swear by the end of it you're gonna have to sort out some therapy for me :L ;)
But it is fantastic . I've never been a believer in Bella/Jake pairings but i really love this story !
I like the way you write it with Bella's POV & then Jake's POV . It's a good way to get an insight into what they're thinking which can often be difficult to guess when you don't know !
I really hope Bella talks to Jake about this Lauren & Mike thing - i really hate those two :L I think i'm kinda hoping Jake will try and beat Mike up but i don't think anyone would be too amused when Jake kills him or phases and reveals to everyone he's a wolf ! :L
But anyhow, please update soon :) :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I think the dual-POV is important to the story, and I know it confuses some people at first. So I get all kinds of excited when someone tells me how much they like that aspect of it! And I'm just as addicted to writing it as you are to reading it, so there's definitely lots lots lots more to come! In the meantime, check out the forum. It'll get your mind spinning!

Bella is a smart enough and practical enough girl to go out and make the money. Why would Rach even think that Bella would sit at home and expect the man to go out and take care of and support her? Bella can provide for her man just as well if not better than her man can for her. Sorry, just thought I'd throw some female power at Bella to help her make that point herself.
Author's Response: Yeah, Rachel's not giving Bella enough credit, but that's just because she doesn't want her little brother to get hurt.

This was a good chapter! I bet jake will start helping rachel fix the little house so after they are done he and bella can have it...and he needs a job. Another fun chapter. Funny to see the love/hate relationship Jake has with his sister.

Author's Response: Thank you! I figure most siblings have that type of relationship---I know I did with my brother! And yes, Jake is worried about not being good enough for Bella, but he's nothing like Edward, and he'll handle it in a completely different way.

So I agree with the other posts. It really seems like the Jacob and Bella scenario is a healthier and more realistic relationship. Though the fairy-tale, can't-live-without-you-or-my-life-is-over, was a great story to read. I always wanted Jacob to get the girl after New Moon, but I've been told that's cause I'm a sucker for the underdog (ask my boyfriend, he'd agree). And I really do appreciate that you respond to most of the posts. That way I know what you're plans are as far as continuing the story. Anyway, I've really enjoyed reading the story and can't wait til the next installment!
Author's Response: Thank you! The whole 'healthy relationship' is really a big part of what I try to put into the story. I like Bella, and I don't want her to be codependent or compromise who she is. So, even though she's a little too preoccupied with Jake, I make sure she realizes it and tries not to be 'that girl.' I know most teenage girls are all about whatever boy they're into (I certainly was!), but there's a healthy way and a stalker way. And I just can't have Bella turning into an obsessed stalker.
And I love that I get to reply to reviews! I can't tell you how excited I am that so many people are enjoying the story. When I started writing it, it was really just because I couldn't get all these imagined scenes out of my head. It's great to hear what everyone has to say about it and get a chance to answer questions. And to be perfectly honest, I get a few story ideas from people's reactions & reviews!
