Okay....This is the first twilight fan-fiction I've read and I love it! I could keep reading all night, hope you update soon :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I've read a ton of fanfic myself, and I have to say that this is the best site when it comes to quality fics. The validators sort through a ton of submissions every day, and only the good ones are allowed to post. I was worried when I submitted mine that they would turn it down! But while I applaud other sites for letting all stories be posted, this is the one I come to when I want to read something fantastic.

Is Jake gonna imprint? I certainly hope not. And now I know who got Jake's bike and showed up at the school. I wonder what kind of trouble Embry is cooking up now. Trying to let Lauren know that Jake is off limits? Interesting. I'm liking Embry more and more each chapter! You should definitely do some Bella/Embry bonding time.

Nice! Leah has a good point. Whoa - are you heading in the "Bella wants to go to college but won't because of Jacob while Jacob can't find a way to tell bella it's over because he imprinted on someone else" direction? I don't know if I want that. Hmmm. At first I didn't want them together because of Edward, but now i like them together. I don't know if I want them apart now. Can't wait to see where this is going.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't want Edward to return. This story is unique from so many others on this site because she is actually allowing her feeling for Jake to develop properly. I love E and B together in other stories, but I like this one because it is more real. Not every girl wants to jump into bed with someone because their hormones are telling them to. Keep this up. I'd like something wicked to happen with Lauren. No permanent damage, just embarassing.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll be the first to admit that I love B&E together too, but I just had to explore the giant What-If that SM left for me. And the whole jumping in bed thing? That's probably the main reason I wrote this story. I read a lot of fics that just had everyone giving into their hormones too soon, and it just seemed so completely out of character. I know that teens are walking hormones (at least I was!), but that doesn't mean that they have to do something stupid. I really respect SM for the way she made E/B's attraction to one another obvious, but held them off from consumating things too soon. My little sister (15 years old at the time) recommended the books to me because her friends loved 'em, but she had never read them. Once I blew through them, I loaned them all to her, and I didn't have to feel like I was corrupting her!
