Author's Response: Well, I do have the next chapter ready to go, but I can't post it until the companion story "Pursuit" is validated. Otherwise everything gets all out of order. In any case, Roo is pretty quick about validating, so it shouldn't be too long :)

i think i told you once that you deserved 900 reviews instead of 90 or something.
And now you have over a THOUSAND! And i'm so happy about it because this is so brilliant and it really does deserve the praise and attention.
i'll admit i was getting comfortable with Bella and Jake being all cute and snuggly and i definitely was not expecting any action like this to come up. But it's very good. You're very good at conveying their emotions and the intensity of the scenario. i'm more impatient to read Jake's version of this chapter than i ever have been for any of the others.

Author's Response: No sparkles for me. Frankly, Jake/Bella stories don't seem to get very far with these awards things. If everyone who read them nominated & voted, it would be a different story, but from what I've seen, either the fans aren't there or they're just not participating.
