HOLY ACTION AND SUSPENSE BATMAN!!! I just want you too know that was FANTASTICALLY written! I was on the edge of my seat! wow, ur great at writing bad ass chase/fight scenes. it's nice to get the werewolf POV too.

Author's Response: Thank you! I have to admit that I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I started writing the chapter. I mean, I knew I wanted Jake to face off with Victoria, but I've never written any kind of fight scene before...So I'm beyond thrilled that everyone seems to like it!

You did soo awesome! I was a little scared that Jake or someone would get hurt in the pack. I also like that Victoria has newborns with her. Tons of action, keep it up!
Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to stay as true to Victoria as I could with the newborn thing. After all, the boys were turning into wolves even before the Cullens returned, and I can't imagine it was all because of one vampire.

Wow! Go Jacob! he was so kick ass! I loved that he had that internal struggle with taking down the front vamp and getting Victoria. It was weird but for a short time, I almost forgot that we were watching jacob. I felt like I was reading through Edward's perspective, their love for Bella being so singular. Great stuff!
Author's Response: Thank you! Believe it or not, I had no idea how the fight was going to go when I started writing the chapter. But it just made sense that Jacob would be most concerned about Bella, so I couldn't help adding something about his trying to disobey Sam. Glad you liked it!

Um, I noticed a small mistake:
"I searched the minds of the pack again, looking for someone who could help, but they were all too far away or too busy with their own leeches."
Jake told Edward that they'd tried 300 miles away and they could still hear each other. And when Jake was up in Canada and Seth was keeping an eye on him, I had the impression he was more than 300 miles off. So if they're all in the Forks area, he'd still be able to hear them, right? Unless you were planning on changing that bit. Just thought I'd point it out.
Author's Response: I didn't say he couldn't hear them---he's is, after all, searching their minds, not searching FOR their minds. The rest of the pack is simply too far away to get to Jake quickly enough to help, or they're tied up fighting other vampires...so Jake's on his own for the moment.

Argh! Jake! Please say others will come and help him. I mean, I know that you won't let him die, but it would be easier on Bella if she knew he was being helped out.
Author's Response: Nope, Bella won't know anything more until it's over. I think it's more "realistic" like that, since the wolves are focused on the battle more than anything else.
