A great chapter as always. I really love your story. I always wondered myself how would the story have gone if Alice did not see Bella jump. I think that Bella and Jacob make a cute couple. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Author's Response: You are SO right! I think it also makes a difference when there's multiple kids. Between being the oldest and being a girl, I got the worst of it! My dad set down rules that still don't make sense. My younger brother had it a lot easier, in part because he was a boy, and in part because I'd obviously survived, so they were more lenient with him. And then my sister, the youngest by over a decade, hit her teen years, and all the rules just went flying out the door! I'm more strict with her than my parents are!

BUT WHY DO YOU MAKE US SUFFER WITH SHORT CHAPTERS? WHY?!
I love how you portrait jacob. I am re-reading eclipse right now, and your jacob is the same as in the books, which is great.
I hated all Jacob/Bella fanfics until I foun yours because they were all about them having spontaneous *superkinkyhotandwet* sex, which I found outrageous and utterly WRONG!
What evah, uhm...I am still hopin the cullens do not come back because of this vamp-attack.

It's funny that your version of Jacob is this dense. From my own reading--and this is just my take, mind you--Jake's a little bit more perceptive than this. He just gets driven to take desperate measures in Eclipse. With more time on his hands, and Edward gone, I think he'd show a teensy bit more patience moving things along physically with Bella. Maybe I'm wrong. Your view of Jacob is more entertaining, anyway. Thanks for a fun read.

It seems near impossible to find a story that's dedicated to Bella/Jacob as a couple, so I loooove that this story is and the fact that you're a fantastic writer makes it even better!
As far as the imprinting issue goes, I kinda feel that Jake shouldn't imprint at all. Having him imprint on Bella would be too gratuitous and convenient, so I think it works better if he just doesn't imprint and continues with his strong love for Bella that isn't due to anything supernatural.
However, this is you're story so if you want him to imprint on her, then I'll just have to accept it :p
Author's Response: Thanks so much! The whole reason I started writing this story is because I was dissatisfied with the J/B fics I found. I just kept imagining it differently, and before I knew it I had a gazillion chapters mapped out. And to think I never wanted to write fanfic!

that was so sweet and dangerous at the same time - i really like thses 2 chapters showing how strong Bella really is and reaferming how much Jake cares for her.
when i can get my head fully wrapped around this chapter (Homecoming BPOV, JPOV) there are just so many words i want to use but just cant get them to fit together to make any sense.
