Aw.. Now I'm just bummed. If Jacob imprints it won't be on Bella.. he would have done that by now. I wanted them to be together.. that's what I thought was the point to this fic but I suppose I'd have to write it myself. None-the-less the story's great! It just turns out it probably won't end the way I was hoping... Keep up the amazing work though! :)

Okay, I was hoping (because I adore Jacob) that you'd extend his POV a little beyond the "I think I can handle that" line. His perspective never ceases to entertain.
I hadn't even considered the necessity of a sequel. This is intriguing.

Awesome I didn't know you where doing a sequel to this story!! So much to look forward to!! Are you going to do the sequel in the same format as this one?

I love your story as you can see I'm excited to know there is a sequel, but there is one thing I don't like about the story. I love the alternating POVs but it seems redunant the way they are formatted. Maybe overlapping the POVs would be better and would help keep the story progressing. If you don't know what I mean by overlapping, send me an email. Just a suggestion to think about!
I do love your story, there aren't a lot of B/J fic out there and this does happen to be one of my favorites. Can't wait for the next post!
Author's Response: Yes, not long after I got this story going, I realized a sequel would allow us to skip ahead a bit and play with the characters some more. To be honest, the story was only supposed to be about 4 chapaters long, and it was simply going to explore the different reactions, miscommunications, and interpretations of things by both the characters---hence the dual POV. But it caught on so quickly, readers were begging for more, and they were pretty much demanding Jake's perspective each time I posted Bella's. So I just went with it.
Had I planned on the fic being so long, I probably would have formatted it differently, although I have no idea how I would have done that without leaving out things I think are key to the character development. I do know what you mean by overlapping POVs, but this late in the game I have no intention of changing things up. Right now, too many of my readers who have become invested in the story since I started it back in November on another site prefer the dual-POV the way it is. I actually polled them a while back, and the overwhelming majority didn't want it changed at all.

This is definitely one of my favorite stories on the site. The chapters are shorter than I like but they are written really well, and I'd rather read a good post then a long one. Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm afraid chapter length will probably always be an issue because I just don't even look at word count. But I appreciate what you said about a good post vs. a long one. I could probably spend more time adding a bunch of filler stuff----like one fic I read where the author described every single action... "I reached for the doorknob and turned it to the right, hearing the click...I stepped into the room and pushed the door shut behind me....I took three steps and turned left then sat down on the sofa...I crossed my leg over my knee...and reached for the remote, pushing the red button to turn on the tv before adjusting the volume..." Yeah, I had to stop reading that one. It was a good fic, but there was just so much useless filler that I couldn't take it seriously. I just like telling my story with enough to at least try to keep it interesting :)

I really love how cute they are together. So sweet and innocent. It's really refreshing to read a story that doesn't demonize Jacob in some way (even if I am a Team Edward girl, I still love Jacob :-D)
They've only been dating for a week?! Wow, this story feels so much longer :-) Keep it up, I love it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I have to say I've been disappointed with how many fics completely villify Jacob. He's a crazed psychopath, a stalker, a wife-beater...really? That's how we treat the guy who defected from his pack so he could protect Bella and her child? People confuse me...

I make a point reviewing each chapter because you deserve it so much! Well, I had already read this chapter because of our wonderful Facebook but it's always shuch a blast to reread Jacob's chapters. I'm going to say the same thing I said on Facebook and on the forum but I lile the fact that Bella means so much to Jacob and that he wants to protect her from being embarrassed.
Now, I think the next couple of posts are going to be interesting!!!

I just have to say your writing is awesome! This story had me hooked from chapter one and I couldn't stop reading!!! I stayed up until 6am one night...I'm surprized my husband didn't come to find me lol. I love how I can lose myself in your story, the perfect destraction when I really need one lol. I totaly agree. It drives me crazy that people refuse to remember that Jacob is just what you said he is.

Author's Response: Thank you! I didn't include that little disclaimer when I first posted that chapter, and the haters came out of the woodwork. I think Team Edward was expecting me to completely villify Jake. I finally went back and added that so I wouldn't get anymore 'Jake sucks' reviews.

I've got to tell you, you always make your story turn in a direction that nobody is expecting. I know that you've said that nothign would be happening between them for now, bit this is so not what I expected.
It is way better =) Still afraid of some Cullens showing up to ruin the party.

Author's Response: I think it keeps taking unexpected turns because I never fully plan things out. I'll start out thinking, "Victoria should attack and Bella should spend the night at Jake's," and the next thing I know there are fires, newborns, Rachel's moodswings, and Sam offering up condoms. I never really have any idea what's happening until I start writing it, and even then I'm just trying to make sure they have fairly natural reactions to things. As for Sam...well, he's what? About 19? I'm surprised he can think about anything but sex ;)
