This story honestly makes my top 3 list. I love your writing; I get so excited to read the new chapters! Like someone mentioned before me, I like how you've taken the characters and grown them from what they were in the books and yet get them so true to who they are. I just love reading it. Well done. And Please don't make us wait too long for that sequel. plleeeease.

I've realized I was one of those that mentioned the bi-polar thing. I noticed a lot of others saying it, so I went with the crowd and asked if she was. Of course I didn't mean to trivialize anything. I do realize how serious of a disorder it is, however, I think there are varying degrees of its severity, and perhaps that is why people are so comfortable with throwing around its diagnosis (of course a lack of understanding is a reason as well). Depression runs in my family, my sister and I suffer from it, so I understand mental imbalances. I understand how serious they are and how much pain and destruction they can cause. I meant no offense, and though you said you weren't looking for them, I offer my sincere apologies.
Now on to reviews...
I've said it a dozen times, but the way you write Jake is just so perfect. The little nuances you give him are so in line with the character that Stephanie Meyer created. You've found a way to continue on his character and story in a very organic and authentic way, and it's a rare thing for a fanfic writer to be able to do that. So in other words, you rock :)
And if you'll allow me a fangurl moment:
As long as she was happy, as long as she was with me, I really didn't care how slow she wanted to take things. Hell, I'd wait until our wedding night if that's what she wanted. Okay, maybe I wouldn't be telling her that anytime soon. Planning a honeymoon was definitely rushing things.
*squeal* I love Jake.
Paul is an uber azzwipe. I cannot believe that he went there about Bella. Grr. I'm glad Jake kicked his butt. And in my mind, Sam didn't reprimand Jake because he thought Paul needed an ass woopin too :p I got the feeling though that maybe Paul's comment was in response to Jake's seemingly nonchalance towards where Rachel would stay? Hmmm... Maybe that's not it, but there's something there?
This chapter was steamy. In a good, not-trashy way. Jake stopping? SO Jake. That boy loves Bella well. <3 him.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! And you're right about Sam. My thinking in writing that little scene was that Sam stepped in between them first because he wanted to give Paul a chance to phase before Jake attacked him. Once Paul was phased, he was just going to let them fight it out until they either got it out of their systems or it looked like one of them was going to be seriously injured.

Wow, I read the chapter notes and I never knew that about you. I was improperly diagnosed as bipolar, when I was really just having a hard time coping with my life, and my body was reacting..weirdly. And knowing that about me somehow helps me relate even though we don't know each other. Weird? Maybe a little but still...
Anyways! Lighter-topic-time!
As far as the chapter goes, though, it was perfect. I love how seeing things through Jacob's eyes makes them brighter, more positive. His love and adoration and protective side is sweet and so loyal. Reminds me of my boyfriend :)

Author's Response: You know, I was improperly diagnosed at first, too. Just like in the commercials, my doc only saw that I was depressed, so he gave me anti-depressants and sent me to a shrink. After a while on antidepressants, I went into a manic cycle, and things just got progressively worse. I ended up reading through pages and pages of the DSM and finally found something that made sense. When I took it to my shrink, she asked me about a thousand questions, and when I'd told her my whole life story, she said I was Bipolar II. I'm still grateful to that first doc, though. If he hadn't known me well enough to see the changes, and if he hadn't been insitent about it, God only knows where I'd be now.

Great chapter as always! My sister-in-law, neice and nephew are all bipolar as well. Thank you for sharing your expieriences and making it real for your readers. The more people talk openly and honestly, the better others will understand. I am so very grateful you found fanfiction, selfishly because I love your story and unselfishly because I wish my neice could find an outlet like this!
