Author's Response: I don't think he knew about Edward. The whole stealthy vamp thing would have prevented that. And honestly, were it not for the big chunk o' tree laying in the yard, he probably wouldn't have known about Jake, either.

Vampires and werewolves I could believe. But this? This simply wasn't possible in any universe. It's always surprising to teens just how much their parents know about their lives but Bella's reaction was priceless. The whole chapter was so cute it made me giggle. I can't wait to read Jacob's reaction.

The end was simply great! I didn't think Charlie could handle Jacob in his house without saying anything! (I just got the strange feeling I've already written this review but in a dream???!!! Good chapter. Can't really think of anything much to say other than that.
