Hee! I love DadCharlie! It speaks volumes about his trust in Bella and Jake that he didn't march in that room and drag Jake out by his hair. Awww that warms my heart for some reason.
And I'm with Bella, her and Jake should be the exception to that 'highschool relationships don't last' rule.

Author's Response: LOL! I guess I can relate, too. My freshman year of college, I'd come home for the weekend and stay at my boyfriend's. I always told my stepmother where I was, but we let my dad think I was staying on campus for the weekend. Of course, in a town that small, I *know* he knew what I was up to. But he was more comfortable playing dumb----and so was I!
