Bella's panic in this chapter was beautifully played out. I could actually picture her running outside scantilly clad and screaming Jacob's name.

Gosh. Poor Jake, and poor Bella. It's just so heartbreaking, that he doesn't know what's going on, and neither does she, really. Although, now that I think about it, it was good this happened. It will give them a chance for some much needed Edward talking, clear the air, and let them get on with their relationship.

They both tend to jump to conclusions instead of communicating, don't they? I can totally understand why though. They're both young, insecure, and emotional. I hope they can hurry and get on the same page soon, but I think that Jake is going to take Bella's "I'm sorry," only one way. :(
Don't just run away, Jake, stay with her! Show her that you will never leave her!

I was wondering how they would react to the objects. This was perfect. Loved the reaction to Charlie's revelation!!! Great use of Seth.

Amazing chapter. I wonder if Bella will tell Jake she didn't know the stuff was there or let him assume something else. Would it even matter? Bella is feeling guilty and Jacob may be thinking that she will never get over Edward. This is getting complicated.

Glad you're back! Writing is an art more than a science, and as such relies heavily on intangibles. YOUR intangibles are working beautifully. lol
VERY tense chapter. Why the heck didn't Bella just tell him she hadn't a clue about that stuff? *smile* I do hope it comes out soon! Okay, so this is fiction so it'll probably be later than sooner...
Author's Response: Thank you! As far as Bella's not telling him, she's really still trying to process it all herself. In the span of a couple of about an hour she's dealt with (1) 2nd base while unconscious (2) busted by Charlie (3) Jake acting distant (4) Edward's back? (5) Are Edward & Jake killing each other? (6) Jake's alive, but what about Edward? (7) Ok, so that stuff has been here all along.
If it was me, I'd be knocking back the vodka and vicodin by now.
