As usual, it was a great chapter. You write Jacob so well that I can feel his suffering when he thinks he's losing Bella for the leech, you know. Although they are still together, this situation wasn't talked over, so I'm wondering if this episode will be mentioned once again in the following chapter.

Very good.  I like the ending

Very good, I actually started to tear up at the end.

Oh Wow.   I found this story last night, stayed up reading it till almost 4 am, and only gave up  because the words were blurring together.  I was going to read while I was eating lunch, and then finish later ... but I couldn't stop!Luckily, it's my day off and I could just take the time.  :)

 Your writing is amazing, your Bella and Jacob are so true to who they are in the book series, that your story is a seamless journey to where I have always wanted them to go.  I love that you show them as being awkward when it comes to intimacy and their relationship. It keeps your characters very true to their ages and backgrunds, and seems very typical of teenagers.  The sweet, awkward innocence of their private moments actually makes for very sensual reading, and I'm hoping that your story is going to lead to them giving themselves to each other somewhere in the future, because  I would love to read a love scene with Bella and Jacob, that is tender, sensual and that does not rely on vulgar language for effect.     

The dialogue between the characters is brilliant, I have been laughing out loud at some of the interchanges and situations.  I was on the floor reading about Jessica's visit to see Embry.  Your charcters have a warmth, and depth and realism that makes for enthralled reading.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I was going for.  There are plenty of completely different fics out there that I thoroughly enjoy, but I guess I read too many that were just completely out of character.  Before I knew it, I was picturing what would have "really" happened in my mind, and once I started writing it down I couldn't stop.  Aside from the whole damsel in distress being saved by the knight in sparkly armor bit, I think what drew a lot of people to Bella was that she was just normal.  She was a little bookish, kinda clumsy, and average pretty.  And she had the same doubts and desires and insecurities that most girls have.  So when it came down to writing the fic, I wanted to keep as much of that as possible, and make it truly more of an alternate ending type of story rather than something just completely different.  I will admit that I get a little caugt up in the secondary characters, but that's actually another thing I set out to do.  SM introduced us to so many people, just enough to pique my curiosity, and then she just let them fade away.  Like we knew Paul was an ass, and we knew Emily was kind of motherly, and we knew Leah was heartbroken, but that's really all we got out of them.  I know it would have taken four more books to explore those characters the way I would have liked her to, so I can't blame her for glossing over them.  But that's what fanfiction is for, right?
