poor jake...it really seems like he and bella can't get any time alone together. i hope they catch victoria soon. this is the only jake/bella story where i have really rooted for them to be together...but *sigh* i have a feeling i know what is coming. an imprint and a cullen. i hate to say it but if it's gonna happen i hope it happens in that order... so for once jake is the bad guy and not bella

Lovely as always, Embry was histerical, Paul, the phone and Paul's errant thougths delightful, and Billy very cool.
Have I said lately how much I adore how long this fic has gotten? I do, and am glad that the end isn't particularly in sight yet. It's killed me to wait this long to read this chapter, but i've been working on my Bridal Style Anon. Cont. entry. It's done, so now I get to read!! Yeah. This is what I rewarded myself with first!!! I seriously sobbed with joy when I saw that you updated. I have missed this story so much! Especially after seeing that horrific ending in New Moon, (which I was completely aware of, having read the book) but seeing it on screen made it that much worse. Jacob doesn't deserve that! Anyway, reading your story and returning to the wonderful world of Jacob and Bella makes me feel good again, so thank you! Hope you are doing well and that you will update soon!
Author's Response: Yeah, New Moon was a bit painful for me, too. I'm always torn. I want her to be with Edward because he's her first love and they never stopped loving each other, but Jacob's just so loyal and good to her...and he works out a lot ;) That semi-kiss before the phone rang about killed me---there was lip contact, dammit! Why couldn't Edward just wait a few more minutes before he called?

Okay...I haven't commented on the previous chapters but now I've reached here I simply must. THIS IS THE MOST AWESOMERIST STORY EVER!!! OMG I'm so sucked in. I mean I spent my ENTIRE day sitting in front of my pc reading...i've never been so enthralled except for the twilight series itself. and the little insightful one shots are awesome too, you really get to connect to the characters, I LOVE IT!!! so -- about rachel: I am confident that you are a thorough and talented enough writer to have an explanation for Rachel;s inconsistent behavior. But i wish, as part of your audience, that you would have developed her just a little bit more so that we wouldn't be so caught off guard at her quick changes in temperment. I'm sure there's a reason for it, but I think a little more development in terms of her interactions with bella or her relationship with Paul would have really helped illuminate her emotions to us. I think you could have developed her a little bit more while retaining the suspense that her contradictory character illicits. Because now, I'm simply left scratching my head over her.
some things I think you did really, really well: suspense! i rarely find a fic as thoughtful and thorough as this one! Also, the scene where Bella runs to jacob in wolf form: really consistent with bella's character, and you developed it really well. I am enjoying this story immensely!

I don't know if you remember me telling you but this was the first Jake and Bellas story I started reading when I was introduced to this site. I have loved reading every chapter and have retraced chapters waiting for you updates. I was so happy this morning to find another chapter for my reading enjoyment. You put so much detail into each one and even though there are 2 chps. repeating dialogue between Jake and Bella's POVs it is so good to know what each one is thinking while all the drama is unfolding. It gives the story so much more meaning to me. I'm glad to see you are getting to write again. You are truly missed in between your updates. Hope all is well, and I can't wait to see what Victoria has coming to her and get her out of the way of Jake and Bella, Right?! Thanks fo the update. Hope to read more soon!!!
