Charlie is a damn cockblocker! But he still makes me laugh. Sorry I havn't reviewed the last 2 chapters, I've been busy & only just had a chance to catch-up with all the fanfic updates.

Anyway I equally loved all of the last 3 chapters, I did freak-out alittle wondering if Jake was going to see Mike with Bella, but luckily he didn't and there was no angst. There has been enough angst at the moment :L

So glad your into the top ten, totally deserve it! Looks good having a Jake fic in the list, I agree!  And with this being your first attempt at fanfic Im shocked, this story is amazingly written!

Lastly, I have no idea what Jake's been up to, im all out of words & lacking imagination atm. Looking forward to the next chapter (:

I love this story and to answer your previous question, I found it because I was searching the web for J/B fic after seeing New Moon. I don't particularly like the Twilight series but I do like those two together, and you write them so nicely :)

Great update!!I've got no guesses for what happens next. I'm horrible at guessing. I cant wait to see what was going on though!!!! Is a little sad that I know I'm too old to read fanficton and as soon as I wind down from my day I come on here to read?? Surely not. Lol

You asked the reason why some of us were reading this story. Well, I am Team Edward and usually avoid Jake fics. I also only read completed fics cause I can be impatient and hate startin something that sometimes doesn't get finished. I had already read pre-twilight & twilight completed stories about Edward and decided to start New Moon, which meant reading a Jake fic. Since this one will have Edward (well the sequal) I decided to give it a shot. And I love it; so, thanks for getting me more interested in Jacob. But I will always be Team Edward. Great story, keep up the good work.

Thank you!  I know what you mean about incomplete fics.  Between the infrequent updates and the writers who just abandon them, it's always a gamble.

One of my favorite chapters! I really liked how Mike Newton helped Bella out and showed maybe he can be a friend. The love that Bella feels for Jake is so beautifully written, I feel like you've somehow managed to read my mind! ;) My favorite line was "He was another version of perfect." It seems like Edward is always in the back of Bella's mind waiting to win another comparison to Jacob. It's nice that Bella recognizes that there are two versions of perfection for her and it seems like Jacob is finally on equal footing with Edward. Maybe... :) And as I've said before, I love the humor you put in your story. The last couple of sentences of the chapter, I definitely lol'd! This story is made of awesome, as are you! Thank you!! :)

Thank you!  And that's exactly what I was going for with the "another version of perfect" line.  I wanted it to be subtle, so I didn't just name Edward, but yeah, that's it.  I love that you caught that!

I started reading around chapter 20.  I did a search.  I stumbled across it, thought the premise of the story sounded interesting and I always thought about how it would have turned out if Alice hadn't seen her jump.  This story also has the best characterization of Jacob that I have read, next to the actual books of course.  So, I read 20 chapters in rapid succession and I have been a loyal fan ever since.  I can't wait to see how it will turn out.  Also, this story has led me to reading your story "Broken", and I am also a fan of that.  I also can't wait for the sequel!  =)
