I so enjoy how you've let Jacob be a teenager in this story. I mean sure, he's got this terrifying-at-times job to do and he's got considerations no young man should have to face in a rational universe, but he's also just a guy with girl problems. It's so completely HUMAN.
Which is, of course, one reason I enjoy this story. I like for Bella to be human, too, and with Jake she CAN be.
And the end of the chapter is just so perfect. lol I can entirely hear them.
Author's Response: Thank you! I definitely want Jacob and Bella to be normal human teenagers, as much as possible. I think it makes them more relatable and just believable.

If there were any typos I didn't spot them, granted I get so caught up in the enjoyment factor I doubt I'd notice.
Can I just say the yummy bits are even yummier from his POV. Odd I know, but her oggling him is sexier here for me. Go figure.

Author's Response: Thank you! I think the ogling is sexier simply because we're getting a look at Bella's more normal human teenage side. It was rather suppressed in the books, at least until she was crying over sex in Breaking Dawn, and I just don't get that. Teenagers, even girls, and even those who stay on their best behavior, aren't blind and without hormones.

I stumbled onto this story just from looking arond the site. I have been rereading the series and I am on New Moon and I used to write fanfic for a different fandom (Buffy, Angel, Roswell) and I have all these unanswered question from the book and I was looking for a fic with some of the ieas I had thsi was pretty close.
