I think everyone is relieved the imprinting didn't involve Jake, lol. It was a cute take on how Quil imprinted on Claire, though. :)
I think Bella is going to be pleastantly surprised when she comes back from shopping to find all that Jake has planned for her. I'm curious to see how all of that goes down.

What a great chapter! I love your interpretations of the characters - true to canon, but with a little extra spark that makes them that much more awesome. Bella seems like the best version of herself with Jacob, whereas she was moony and weak and blah with Edward. Thanks for writing!

Oh Jessica...crazy woman! Glad Embry found a way to get rid of her.
Love the wolfpack interaction and cracking up at the revelation of Quil's imprint on Claire. That'll be an interesting read from Jake's POV. Better yet...a companion story from Quil's POV.
I'm sure there is more to the whole Charlie/Jake breakfast interaction which I'm hoping to read from Jake's POV.
As always...good job!
*Oh and gold keds with a purple track suit? Now the only way that would be acceptable to me is if she was off to the Staples Center to watch the Lakers during a playoff game! ;)

Great chapter... I love the way Jake and Charlie interact with each other... and the whole going shopping with the girls to get Bella to leave so they can go set up the dinner was very cleaver.. I so love this story..It how I always pictured the relationship with Bella and Jacob to be in its beginning stages.. Loved! Here we were all speculating as to who was going to imprint on whom, and it's an imprint we already knew about. Way to freak up out.
I'm assuming the shopping is Jake's way of getting Bella out of town long enough for him to cook. Can't wait to see what we missed with the whole Carlie/Jacob/newspaper thing.
Oh, and you really have to update more. I mean, we're only getting two updates a week. Don't you know every story updates so much more than that? Sheesh. What about daily updates? Oh, ooo, hourly? Who needs to work, or eat, or sleep? ;) I'm a smartass, I know.

Haha, I totally knew the imprint wasn't going to involve Jacob considering how that would take the air out of Edward's tires returning in the sequel.
