I love this chapter, in fact I love your story so far. Carlisle and Esme are wonderful parents and I can personally relate to Bella's abandonment issues on a personal level

I agree SM left out a lot. The way the books read, once Edward was back, miraculously Bella was completely OK. I mean WTF?!? I get she was glad he was back, but there were a lot of problems just glossed over. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I always thought they rushed Bella's acceptance a bit. I wished she had read the riot act, to all but especially Edward and Alice.

I am very interested in your story. I find it very likely that Bella could have gotten addicted to pain killers and such during NM. I assume it is an addictions since she takes it regularly and Edward has returned. I was also wondering what update schedule you anticipate since I caught it in the beginning.
Author's Response: Well with the meds she's taking, it's a bit of an addiction, but more so a 'her body can't function without them' kind of thing. Most addictions are linked back to a feeling of pleasure in one sense or another and she's not getting any of that with or without them. The story itself is already completed. Not by this chapter, but there are 7 in total. Updates should be fairly regular, but my beta's been battling a cold. Once I had my other chapters in and then this one, she needed a break. Ok. I'm as mad at Edward as the next person - but the Cullens are awfully eager to forget their part in this. THEY left her. Edward didn't force them; didn't hold a gun to their heads - THEY left their "daughter", their "sister" and didn't even look in or check on her. So this, "What did Edward DO to her?" is hypocritical, to say the least.
