This was another great chapter. I look forward to the updates, so keep them coming! And I think that Edward is being a little bit selfish though. I know it seems like he would do anything for Bella, especially because he thinks she is so accomplished, but he is a teacher, and he could probably get a job anywhere. And if Bella is going to be a writer, she could get a job anywhere too. Is he even thinking about the fact that if he wants to, he could follow her? Or is it that Forks is the only place he wants to be?
Author's Response: You have to remember that Edward doesn't know the extent of Bella's feelings. He thinks that she just sees him as a good friend and he doesn't want to persue a maybe relationship with her over the summer if she's moving away for college. You don't just pick up and move for a person you just started dating. It doesn't even cross his mind that he could do that (it will later). Don't worry, everything will work out as it should....or as well as it should for a forbidden love haha. Thanks so much for the review!

Beautiful. I think edwards position as a teacher is a flexible job though, since he can teach anywhere so I dont really see the idea of him following her after she graduates as a large hurdle. Way to go alice! This chapter was filled with awesomeface.
Author's Response: In a way, you're right. Edward can follow her, but people don't think of simple solutions like that. Actually, it's not so simple, but you know what I mean. And he also doesn't know Bella's feelings yet. And Alice was major awesome face haha ^_^ Thanks so much for the review!

Love it, love it! I really enjoy reading your story. The naughtiness of the situation they are in only heightens the suspense of what will happen next. I hope he can fix it. Aw, first of all, thanks for the shout-out! I was so excited about the chapter that I didn't even see it until someone pointed it out. I'm so very mixed on this chapter. No wait, don't kill me - hear me out! I liked the tension and the underlying need from Edward. Even though you've said that Edward has feelings for Bella, in my head, there was only one way to take what he said in the last chapter - that he just wanted nothing to do with her - so I like how Edward had this revelation of "Oh crap, that came out wrong." Alice also kicked ass in this chapter. I completely related to her calling someone out for screwing around with a friend, so woo! I think what really confused me about the chapter in general was the sudden friendship of Edward and Emmett. I realize it's not actually "sudden" but did I miss something in the previous chapters that mentioned them being such close friends? I always got the impression that they just knew each other through work. I could be wrong, obviously. I'm still so invested in this story. I can't wait to see how E/B interact next; it's just gotta be awkward.
Author's Response: The friendship between Edward and Emmett is not sudden. I did mention in chapter two that Emmett was Edward's Best friend. You didn't see much of that friendsip then, though, because it was more focused on the WTF aspect. And they did meet each other through work, but became fast friends. I guess I didn't spend enough time explaining their relationship as I should have. Alice is amazing ^_^ I could have written an entire chapter of her telling off Edward, but alas, the story needs to be told haha. And yes, there really was only one way for Bella to take that. But like most men, Edward sometimes says stuff that come out way wrong. And it is I who should thank you for the support in the thread, so Thanks! And thanks for the review ^_^

I'd say that it wasn't nearly as heartbreaking, but it really kinda was. I mean look at the emotional and physical state of the two. That' enough to break anyone's heart. Especially Edward going through a scare like that, anyone who has ever experienced that kind of terror will tell you that it's one the most horrilbe things to go through.(from personal experience, it is) Damn, and now Edward has been brought to a realization and he has to make a choice for the two and I have a feeling NO ONE is going like his decision!(but that's what makes these stories great; the drama/angst) I have to tell you I've been watching this story like a hawk since I found it, it has easily become my favorite! GREAT JOB!
Author's Response: Edward does have a decision to make, but it might surprise you what happens. It was definitely heartbreaking in a different sense of the word. Holy intensity batman. Poor Edward, he meant it one way, but she heard it another. And now he realizes how much it's crushed her. Emmett is perfect here. He knows how hard it is, but also how lucky Edward was that he didn't confess it all. Of course, neither of them know Bella feels just as strongly, so it's not like she would get him in trouble for it. GAH. In tears twice from her in the last week. My poor heart, breaking for him. I am so, so glad that he is the one to find her, and got the chance to hold her briefly. I hope that when she heard these words “God, I thought I lost you." that she can latch onto that and maybe have a touch of hope, but I somehow doubt it. Emmett was absolutely perfect. Taking him to the hospital to see how she is. Seeing his shaking hands and recognizing how bad it is. Then his speech. Yes, he's not condoning it, he can't. But he can also see that she is something special and understand how Edward fell for her and how they just fit. Edward talking about not holding her back, because she's so special, GAH, he's so beautiful. I'm glad that Em called him out on his not functioning well without her and that he needs to think about what he'll do once she's graduated. Maybe that will get Edward thinking about his options, especially once he knows how she feels about him too. Alice. Freaking rocks. I love that he found himself slightly afraid of her. I would be too. And I SOOO love that she called him on his crap. Telling him that she knows he feels something too, so quit denying it, telling him he didn't have a clue. Rock and hard place? Maybe. But really, leaving both of them living in pain by trying to deny it? Really not so much an option. If he's going to hell, he might as well do it thoroughly.
Author's Response: yeah, I had to have him find her. It was the only way I could sleep at night. Bella definitely heard him say it, but of course, Bella being Bella, she'll think that she was delusional or that she misunderstood and then she'll just be plain old confused. With the Edward crying bit, I was really debating. I saw him crying, but I didn't want it to seem like he did that often. He's definitely more the brooder type than the cryer, but the emotions in this scene were to strong to stifle them. I really loved Emmett in this chapter. He doesn't like the way Edward feels about Bella, but he can't deny that it's something powerful. Emmett is one of my favorite characters and I really like that I get to write him the way I do. It's going to be interesting when they find out how Bella feels. Alice does rock. I loved writing her in this chapter ^_^ As for the rock and the hard place, it's not really a question of which he's going to choose, but more of a depiction that neither choice was exactly the right one. And yes, if you're going to hell, you might as well enjoy the ride ^_^ Thanks so much for all of the compliments and awesomeness that is this review! You make me thoroughly happy PurdueLiz. Wow! Impressed as usual. I actually let a little shriek out when I saw your update! Gods Bless Alice and her big mouth! So what do we have to do to get another update by Friday? Author's Response: By friday?! wow, I'll sure try, but I doubt it. I got this chapter in at 11:52 last night only because at 10:00 I fell asleep at my computer waiting for the page to load.
