Awwww That was sad and sweet. Bella was completely clueless when she was talking to Edward in the hospital and it was adorable. Loved that Bella took the step to distance herself from him. Even though it killed her. Hmmm...fake ID, maybe an accidental meeting in Seattle between E&B.
Can't wait for the next chapter. Loved this one!

You're welcome! And I think the only reason why I want them to wait a couple of years is that then Edward doesn't need to go to jail or anything, and then you sort of have to write at least a couple more chapters :D
Author's Response: haha, I would have to write more, but I'm planning on making this a little long anyway, so....and actually, the only way he would go to jail is if Bella pressed charges. She's eighteen and so it is legal, but he would most definitely be blacklisted as a teacher.

I started this story on a recommendation and I'm totally fascinated by it. Of course, I'm so jealous of your Bella. I was EIC of the literary/art magazine in high school, but my advisor was a 55 year old woman... not Edward. So unfair;-)
But I gotta say, I don't like when Jake is portrayed in the fandom as a jerk. So, I hope that this is either it for him or if he does show up again, it's to apologize or something.

Author's Response: hahaha, I get you. Everyone want an Edward Cullen as an advisor! And don't worry. Jake is not a jerk in my story, he's just confused because he thought that Bella liked him the same way (Bella has a tendency to blur the lines with Jake). He'll be a good friend later on. Wow--that's tough! I love E/B together, but this scenario is scary. Thank goodness it's fiction, because I'd side with Emmett. I did have a friend whose teacher waited until she graduated to ask her out--that's what he should do, but he probably won't, and he'll lose his job. Hopefully he'll be able to find something outside of education. Or maybe his family is independently wealthy and can sustain him.

Wow. I really like this story. It's sort of scary, because my husband and I work in education, and while lines have never blurred with us, we've seen it happen on the news and heard of it happening before. Anyway, at least she's turning 18 soon, and maybe after graduation, they can be together.

excellent chapter! I read it twice it was so good. I was so happy that Edward was the one to find her in the woods and you just know Bella saying I'm sorry, I'm so sorry is going to effect the decision he now has to make. Emmett. Well what can I say. He impressed me in this chapter. Not only was he there for his friend physically when he needed him but also emotionally as well. I'm glad Emmett now reallizes the depth of Edward's feelings towards Bella. And there there is Alice. lol. Thank you for the little blow up. I could just so see Alice doing this to Edward for her friend. Hopefully Edward makes the right decision and finds somehow to make things up to Bella.

Ah! I love angst! As long as I know that the angst will end with a happy, sexy ending. I think you are doing a fantastic job, both with the writing and with not making us wait a month for your next update. I have a question, though. Will Edward and Bella get together during the story, or not until the end? I really hope it is during the story, and you deal with the hardships of their relationship instead of torturing us throughout the whole story! Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: Oh they'll get together before the end. I don't like dishing out all this heartache to just say "and then they lived happily ever after." There will be a relationship that they have to work through. Thank so much for allt the kind words! I means a lot!
