Another awesome chapter! How long is it going to take for Carlisle to realize that he is useing Hedi to keep himself from wanting Esme?
Poor Emmett, I hope Rose takes it easy on him. Also if Bella waits too long wont she look alot older than Edward? She's already in her early 20's isn't she? And with Edward being 17.....

Your chapters never disappoint. Thank you! Looking forward to the next chapter soon! (hint, hint) And while I always love the BxE, please keep putting adorable little Alice in each chapter. I'm still visualizing one of my favorite parts of chapter 2 ["Hunry?" Alice repeated. This time I swore it sounded like there was a questioning note to her voice. Like she didn't understand how a pantry could have no food in it.] and I read it many months ago.
Author's Response: I'll do my best to be a little quicker updating this time :) Alice isn't going to disappear from this story now that Bella and Edward are together, she's an important character, and it's going to stay that way, though her screentime will fluctuate a bit depending on what else is going on :)

Squeee love love love how this is all playing out!!! But I wonder how long will Bella wait to want to be changed and tehn how will a newborn Bella do with Alice she still has years of growth left before she can be changed and then squeee Jasper has to come and want that too....well, at least I hope your sticking with tradition an dnotlet A;ice and Jasper jsut grow old.... I like that Edward doesn't hesitate to tell Bella anything she wants to know. He treats her more as his equal in this story. Less protecting her and shielding her from things she has every right to know about. I like his advice to Emmett. I'm glad you came back to this story. It is a lot of fun.
Author's Response: Thank you for your comment :) It makes me really happy to see that the more mature/equal relationship I was going for is apparent :) Since Bella is older than Edward when it comes to her physical age, I wanted her to take a little bit more of a lead, and feel more like she's bringing some life experience to the table, even if Edward is technically much older.

Author's Response: I know I've been awful with updating. As I said, I have no one excuse, but I do promise to be better come 2013 :) Surviving 2012 and supposed imminent doom has brightened my outlook on life and my drive to live for the moment... or something :P

ok... it's a question i've had for a while now, and I'm not sure if the answer is in past chapters...
If here , your Emmett and Edward are brothers and (i think) lived as humans in Emmett's time rather than Edward's, are they McCarty or Masen?
And is Edward still 17 as in canon or is he a little bit older? If the 1st then w/ this bella going to college and not wanting to be turned yet, then the age gap will be more noticeable...
Author's Response: It's funny you ask about the Masen/McCarty issue, because I've debated myself. Though they 'live' in Emmett's time, making Edward younger than canon Edward, I imagine them having Edward's parents, which I suppose makes them more Masen than McCarty. Though it's never mentioned (and may never come up) as both Emmett and Edward throughly consider themselves Cullens at this point. Carlisle may as well be their third biological brother, the way they see it.
Edward is 17 in this series. Though he can also easily appear in his twenties. Age is large part about how you compose yourself. None of his classmates doubt that he's in his twenties. He prefers to go to college instead of high school, for a) the variety different majors can provide and b) because both his brothers are older and therefore don't appear young enough to attend high school with him. Emmett is 20 and Carlisle is 23. Bella is 22, in her last year of college. I don't think that five years is a huge deal in the longterm, but I suppose when you're as young as these guys it might seem huge. But it's happened. Like Benjamin and Tia. He's a teenager, she's in her twenties.
As for when Bella will actually be changed and how large the actual gap will be... well, you'll see. ;) And yes, she will be changed in this story at some point.

yay their working things out!!! The I love yous are out in the air!!! Rose is turning into a wanna be super mom which works amazing for her one character defect that she loathes more then anything... I wonder how we can get Bella Esme Jasper and Alice to turn Bella would ned to be soon with Esme or they will be older then their mates.... but newborns can't be around humans and Alice and Japer need about 15 years at least... Can't wait for more love love love!!!! It sucks that I am all caught up I want more sniffle
