Poor Bella, she just had a momentary lack of confidence, because she knows in her heart Edward loves her. Tanya would spew any lie to get him back, that's just the kind of bitch she is! I'm sure this will all work out when Sarge gets home!

Charlie is not stupid, he knows this is it for his baby girl, and he wants to stay in her life. This means making nice with the man she loves. Not a hard thing to do when he's as good to her as he is! It was very decent of Charlie to offer to help, that goes a long way to building a relationship with your future son-in-law.

I'm only surprised they lasted as long on the road home as they did! Good thinking on Edward' s part to find a stand of trees a bit out of sight of the highway! What they were doing really shouldn't be displayed to prying eyes! An altogether satisfying date, I would say.
