Ah, good. Now, maybe she won't kill Jacob first and let him talk later, in case he really comes to see her. :)
I understand what you said about rewriting the chapter, Mona, but it's all right. It was a good thing to see those events through Bella's crimson eyes, especially in this beginning of beginnings. Now, let's go ahead and watch how things go on her first "vegetarian" hunt, shall we? ^_^

Neat! I think you are expressing her newborn confusion, in combination with her kind way of thinking, very effectively. I'm very curious to see how confused the rest of the Cullens (or specifically Edward) are being at this point. Thanks for writing!
Author's Response: It's really stressful trying to write semi-canon and writing a newborn's point of view, but to see these reviews lets me know that it's worth the stress.

Nice beginning. Everyone is in character: Edward isn't falling head over heals for Bella the second he sees her or getting too sappy, Bella isn't super angsting or weeping, they're all spot on. I even like how the Cullens are all afraid of her--vampire arrogance gets annoying real quick, so its nice to see Bella wearing the pants (that doesn't make sense, but whatever) for once. I love (well written) Bella!Newborn fics. Keep the chapters coming please.
Author's Response: I really hoped I did all the characters justice. I can't promise everything will be canon. Actually, I can guarantee that it won't be, but for the most part, it's canon. Semi-canon? Sure. Oh, it definitely wasn't love at first sight. Love at first bite, really. Bah dump chh! Lol Thank you for the lovely review!

You have to kill her, Jacob."' Case solved. This explains the smell, and what happened. Jacob was really between the rock and the hard place...
'This was not the girl he once knew, nor would she ever be the same. Though, unable to flip through his mind, I knew he was trying to say goodbye.' I'm not very fond of Jacob/Bella pairings; but I like Jacob/Bella friendship. I will be disappointed if he will really give up on her that easily. :)

Author's Response: Good eye. Yes, Bella is extremely strong, at the moment, so it's like she's using her full strength on everyone at all times. Funny you should mention the Volturi. ;) More coming from Jacob in the next chapter. He won't give up. It's not in his nature.
Crazy things are to come. Sorry I didn't have a next chapter for you to read, yet, but soon.

LOL, I can't remember my hubby's bday half the time but a story I read two years ago? Of course!
Yeah, Bella's not a happy camper with her former boyfriend. Rosalie needs to control herself, what is her problem? Is she that stupid that she thinks that attacking Bella every time she steps one toe out of line is the way to go here? She's so volatile and really, it's hard to have empathy for her character or like her even a little. She has absolutely no sympathy for Bella as a newborn just days old, it looks like. I know she's supposed to be vain and selfish, so it's in character, but it makes it hard to understand why the heck the family puts up with her or what redeeming characteristics she may have. I mean, what does Emmett love about her?
Yeah, let's tell the newborn about Edward's ability. Like anyone has ever responded positively to it. I'm willing to bet no one has ever gone, "you can read my mind? How cool is that? What am I thinking now?".

Rosalie will warm up; she won't be lashing out the entire time. I feel like Rosalie wants to protect everything and everyone around her. She just goes about it the wrong way. I mean, here this newborn comes with this ridiculous power and her family welcomes her in. She's thinking, "Am I the only sane one here?!" I bet Emmett has fun pushing Rose's buttons, and I think they play off each other. I think he gets a rise outta her attitude. That's how I've always viewed that couple.
Lol There is truly no easy way to tell anyone, "Hey, by the way, I've been reading your thoughts this entire time." Such an invasion of privacy, and he can't even stop it! It's all fun and games until they find out you're a telepath.

I loved your story. Does the smell of dog it would be for a wolf to be his friend or boyfriend and suddenly she was with him at the time of the attack of a vampire? perhaps this is the wolf Jacob?

That was what we can call an eventful first meeting. What is her story? What power is it she wields? Why does she smell like a Wolf? Mona, the people want to know. :)
Author's Response: Jeez, I just got your message! Thank you so much for pointing that out. I had a feeling that I was going to call her Bella out of habit, and I guess I missed it. I always miss things when I proofread, but I have to be much more diligent, I see. All will be explained. The wolf smell, her power, and her story. Slowly, they'll receive clues and find out the mystery that surrounds her. Thank you for reading and for messaging me.
