Haha, I know of a few straight men who have read Twilight. All of them only because their girlfriends made them! And not a single one who continued to read the rest of the novels. Oh well...their loss!

I totally agree with Coley about Cinderella, and I would like to add that the story also degrades women with large feet. The big-footed ugly stepsisters were doomed to loneliness with the evil stepmother, whose parenting was most likely responsible for their nasty dispositions, while petite, tiny footed Cinderella gets whisked away to happily ever after with her stalker prince charming. The story sets little girls up to believe that they need to be rescued by a man and are only desirable if they have pretty clothes and tiny feet. Don't even get me started on "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast."
Great story btw, although Bella is a little pathetic. I almost wish that she had made Edward work a bit harder, but then we wouldn’t have gotten that juicy lemon!

That was so sweet! I loved every bit of it! I love how they all chose the actors who play their guys in the movie. That was cute. Kellan Lutz is at the top of my list! Paul Walker was there for a number of years before I discovered Kellan. Mmm. Hehe. I love that they recreated the prom. That was so cute!

I'm a straight guy and I've read them six times each. I also currently have 44 fanfics open on my browser that are waiting for updates daily. I've seen the movie 12 times and I'm currently on chapter 9 of my own fanfic!

Now wait a minute here. I thought Hal didn't know who Mr. X was. Just like she didn't know who his Mr. Why was. Am I missing something here? Did she tell him and I completely missed it? Great chapter. Interesting name for a dog. But cute.
Author's Response: You just have to figure that after the living arrangements have been made and Hal and Bella being friends, that she informs him that Edward is Mr. X.
