I only just started reading, and i don't expect you to change anything now, but wealthy people of this time would have known how speak at least both english and french, and most likely they would know one or two more languages. It was part of the education of the time, especially for women who would need impress a husband.
Author's Response: That's a fair point, and yes I do know that, but they wouldn't have learned all the same languages nessecarily. Whose's to say that she's not accomplised in other languages?

You did an outstanding job discribing the first time between both of them. It was very realistic. I hope that as time goes they will learn to please each othe and be happy! It seems that they care for each other and that it soon will turn to love!
