I wonder why no one ever bitch-slapped Rose for her SELFISH, HATEFUL actions. Her jealousy of Bella was sickening - and I never bought that it was because she unselfishly wanted Bella to stay human - she hated Bella because Edward rejected her and fell in love with someone else.
And I wish the Cullens would admit that, gee whiz, we were WRONG to run off and leave Bella because Edward pitched a tantrum.
Author's Response: Yeah, Rosalie seemed to get off easy. At first it was that jealousy that Edward preferred an ordinary human girl over herself. But, I think it was after this incident that it shifted to be more about Bella's decision to become a vampire.
Her anger toward Bella in that regard was not because Rosalie was unselfish. Rosalie valued humanity. Bella's decision to give up her humanity made it seem that she thought it was easy to cast aside. Bella was effectively saying that what Rosalie wanted more than anything else was worthless in her eyes.
It's like if you were to work your whole life to win a Pulitzer, and believed you would never be good enough for one. Then, someone else who had one decided to throw theirs in the trash to clear out some clutter in their house. You might not care about that person. But you'd probably be furious with them for treating something you value so highly like garbage.

Very good job of making me feel what Jasper was feeling. That was extremely well done.
Author's Response: Don't worry. Alice isn't dead. But Jasper thinks she is, so from his perspective it feels very real in that moment.

There is a sad lack of canon Jasper and Alice fics around, or am I just not looking in the right places? Hmmm...anyway I very much enjoyed this. I liked Emmett and Jasper's brotherly beat down, and Jasper's longing for Alice.
Very in character and interesting to see the events of New Moon from Jasper's POV. I'm looking forward to seeing how this twists!

Hello, just wanted to say that i'm enjoying Jaspers point of view! Sometimes the strong, silent types don't get a chance to say much! Although they did give Jasper more involvement in Eclipse than i expected. In fact all of the cullens except for Emmett has had some extra time devoted to them, poor Emmett! Looking forward to next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review. I know, Emmett was supposed to have his moment, but it ended up getting cut. His outtake is on SM's website, where you can read him describing his transformation to Bella. He thought he was going to Heaven, Rosalie was an angel, and Carlisle was God. Lol :)
More is coming, but this one will probably be a little on the short side. :) I'm glad you like it.
