I'm so glad that Edward didn't fall right back into things with Bella. It wouldn't of been true. I feel so bad that they are both hurting so much. But hopefully with time they can be together again.
This is a great story. Can't wait to see how it ends.

Poor Bella really has been through hell. I hope Edward holds up alright through all this. Im not sure exactly what Edward suffers from but I hope it is different from what Jacob suffered from. I also hope that he tells Bella soon. Because if he keeps it from her for to long she may feel that he's doing the same thing Jacob did.

Poor Bella. I suffered a miscarriage at 17 weeks when I was 21. I hated how everyone said it was meant to be and things like that. It took me a long time to get over it.

I can already tell this is going to be a heavy story. Edward seems like a very lost person. I was also a little concerned when it was mentioned that he was on meds but he was drinking. Mind altering drugs and alcohol can be dangerous. But maybe that's part of the story. Great first chapter.

I have to say that what Jasper said made total sense-- with forgiveness comes moving forward. I don't think Edward is quite there yet, even if he feels like forgiving Bella. There's a lot of insecurity and trust issues, and even with Bella's explanation it's not something you can instantly fix. I would hate to see him take her back like she never left.

Nooooo! You can't leave it there! You can't! You can't! You can't! But you did! Ahh! Okay. Forgiveness is the hardest thing to when someone's fucked up so bad. Not forgiving, I think, is weak because you'll just be holding on and forever bitter.
Anyway, great chapter! It was great, and I can't wait for more.
