Lol, I love these two so much, they're as bad as each other. Edward's like a teenager again what with the banana, staring at Bella's boobs and makng the yoga cookies do dirty things to each other, hahahahaha!! God, I love 'em! I'm so glad that Edward enjoyed his skydive in the end and didn't kill Buzz. You'd never catch me doing something like that I'd definitely wet myself on the way out of that plane, lol.

Sort of sad to think there's only one more chapter and the epilogue left to go! This one was a dandy, with the skydiving and cookie baking. Bella has been such a blessing to Edward's life, as I'm sure he is to her's ! Can't wait for Tahiti, which I'm sure they will both love. Shoot, I know I would! This has been such a fun story to read!

I was pleasantly surprised to see an update as I was just thinking about this story last week. I'm glad to know it wasn't abandoned.
As for skydiving, I'll just take your word for it- I'm too chicken to try

Since this story is winding down, just wanted to say I fell in love with the Twilight story and read all the books before seeing the movie. I was in my early 50's when it first came out. We don't lose our capacity to fall in love, or make love just because we are older people. We all start out as babies and move on to the teens, 20's, 30's etc. NOBODY stays the same age! I still feel like I'm 15 years old (when I first met my dh, and started dating him, we married right after high school graduation and are still together it's been 40 years now). The only difference is various aches and pains, but that's what medicine is for! I know it's icky for young people to think about the old farts having sex, but I'd like to know if THEY are going to give up sex once they reach a certain age...

Oh so good to see this version of Edward and Bella again! It gives me hope that me and Mr. Dark Angel will still be able to uh, do yoga like them in 5-7 years, heheh. Thanks for using some of your precious and little free time to write this for us. *smooch*

So entertaining. I had a blast listen to Edward talk to himself about the sky diving...and was thrilled to find that he enjoyed it so much. Want to meet one of him myself !!! Thanks for the update... we all understand about real life, you should never feel guilty. I have loved this story and it's promise that we can find love and happiness at any age !!!

Wonderful chapter.. Don't kill them off please. Let us old folks dream of living to our 80's together..
Author's Response: Mary, I am aghast! Kill them off? NEVER! They're going to get an HEA full of rainbows and unicorns, I promise. :)

Have I mentioned how much I love these two. I wanna be like them when I grow up.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you'll have something to look forward to as you get older. Thank you so much for liking these two--they're both very special to me, too. :)

Shame on Emmett for chastizing his father!
As for the swing, it reminds me of Edward breaking the headboard in BD while Bella is oblivious!
Author's Response: Emmett is just a boy who loves his mom and is extremely loyal. His intentions were good, even if he did hurt Bella with his words. They got it all figured out in the end.
The swing just *might* have been inspired by the headboard in BD. Just maybe. ;)

OMG I just love this story!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I know it's a pretty different take on Edward and Bella, but I'm delighted that you still gave it a try.

Lol, Carlisle and Edward have started a mutual appreciation society and begun a love fest. I think there comes a time in all our lives when you start to appreciate your family and the people around you more, especially when you realise you have more years behind you than are in front of you. I think that Carlisle possibly distanced himself a little because of Jessica and his feelings that Edward deserved better but now that he's met Bella and seen how happy Edward is I think he feels that he has the brother back that he loves and remembers from when they were younger.
Ahh, just as Leah is protective of Bella, Emmett is protective of Jessica, again it's understandable but I'm glad Edward had his say and that Bella managed to get through to him that she didn't want to take Jessica's place but she was still going to part of Edward's life.
Lol, they broke the swing. That'll keep them giggling for a while and it's one to tell the grandchildren.......whey they're older of course, hahahaha!! Only a few more to go, *pouts* I'll miss these two when you pack them off on their lives together.

Author's Response: I agree with you about getting older and how it makes us more forthcoming with the people we love. Carlisle and Edward are no exception. It's funny how our siblings change according to whom they marry or partner with, and you got the nail right on the head--Carlisle feels like it's easier to tell him these things because he sees his old brother once again now that Edward is with Bella.
Yeah, Leah and Emmett are actually rather similar in nature, except that Emmett is usually easy going and Leah is more serious. They just love their moms and want to protect them; ultimately, they can see that Edward and Leah belong together, and it's all going to work out just fine.
Sorry that you're going to miss these two, but this story isn't going anywhere, so you can always have it to read when you want it. :)

Edward sure fooled his Bella, didn't he? She thought for just a minute that he was going to pop the question right in front of all their family. It was very nice to hear what his big brother really thought of him, too. I love when people tell you stuff like that while you're still here. Waiting until the eulogy is just silly! Breaking the porch swing was pretty damn cool, and I had to chuckle at the panic over the skydiving! Happy New Year and I'll see you later!
Author's Response: Edward still has a trick or two up his sleeve--he couldn't resist the temptation to tease Bella a little but. I totally agree w/you about how important it is to be honest with those you love before it's too late.
As pumped as Silverfox was to break the porch swing, his worries over skydiving are far from complete. ;)

OMG the very best... I laughed til I cried when they broke the swing !!! hahaha... too bad it's not on video !!!
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed the swing. Silverfox is nothing if not a determined man... the swing was going to be his victim. I think video would have been a bit too much for him to handle, however--technology only goes so far before it throws him off. Remember how complicated washing his clothing was? *wink*

You have written a great story. Not too many people write about the over 60 crowd. I guess we are not very romantic or appealing. Thankyou
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind comments, Mary. I'm thrilled that you like my little, off-the-beaten-path story! I really wanted to show people that true love can happen at any age, and that we don't become asexual creatures once we turn 50. I think the over 50 set can be just as romantic and appealing as a young couple, because there's so much life experience and wisdom that comes with age. Tempestuousness and impulsivity are the thing of youth, and it can made for a very angsty life. Maybe it's hotter, but I wouldn't say better--only different, as young people differ from older ones.

OMG we are so close to an ending its biterswet!!! Love love love the clanking of the glasses reminds me of the reception teehee Can't wait for more post again soon!!
Author's Response: Yep, we're getting very close, indeed. Don't worry--Silverfox has a few more aces up his sleeve. :)

Loved it. The family meeting was so sweet. Every one got along so well. I was glad to see you back and glad to hear that you had fun while away.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Kat! It's like Silverfox and Bella's happy mood engulfs everyone around them, huh? Hell, they even make me swoon. *giggle* Thanks so much for reading and your kind words.

Yay a family gathering with less tension involved because it was just sprung on Bella. I'm so glad that everyone gets along and Leah is beginning to like Edward. You can't blame her for being protective of her Mum after everything but you have to trust people enough to let them get on with their lives. I loved the sibling banter that Carlisle and Edward still have, they will remain forever teenagers, lol.
Jane x
Author's Response: Jane, you get it--you really do. Somehow, brothers always act like brothers, no matter how old they are. I think when you've got two people who are so seemingly right for each other, your family kind of has to go along with it. That's not to say that it will all be smooth sailing for Bella and her Silverfox, but I can assure you it will be all HEA. :)
